Thought the trailer was cringey. Hope the actual movie is better.

I can’t get used to skinny Lord Grantham. He was so cute with a bit of pudge.

Between that and his weird, unnatural skin color, he doesn’t look healthy.

I couldn't unsee that.

Really terrible. I can't imagine that was in fashion then. I hope the actor is ok...

I'm excited that we'll get to to see the villa in the south of France and learn about the Dowager's past romance. I wonder if Lord Grantham's tan came from shooting in the S. of France, or if the storyline will explain that he was away somewhere warm and then returned.

I agree. My best friend and I went to see it, but only as a completer.

Me again. I just saw the trailer for this one, and it looks much better!

I just finished this movie - pretty cringey in parts but also good in others. I don’t understand where Mary’s husband is though. He kept making excuses to come to Downton and the movie ends without us ever seeing him. What’s the story there?

I am sick of DA and it's inhabitants.

Presumably he wasn’t under contract for the movie and didn’t want to be in it. I guess they didn’t feel they could kill two husbands in a row.
