The first full length movie was so disappointing. Weak storylines and it seemed all they cared about was costumes, set and that stupid dinner. And too much Tom, and I generally like Tom.

Agree about the first movie

But this focuses on the Dragon Queen Violet. She could make a Marmite advert fabulous.

Wow really? I enjoyed it for what it was - basically a season finale episode as a film. Excited about #2.

It was terrible. Hardly no lines for Anna, Bates, Cora. Mary had one scene at end. Mary and Violet’s conversation about her failing health was so forced.

DP. I found that after their multiple overwrought storylines during the series, a little Anna and Bates goes a long way.
