Would you expect anything from guy on V-day after 4 dates?

My boyfriend of 8 months did nothing.

I am choosing not to be cynical and am assuming both are sincere.

How does guy 2 know your address?

But did you do anything?

The first Valentine's Day I was dating my DH, we had been on maybe 3 dates, and he kinda freaked out and didn't even talk to me that day. Like he thought it was the 3rd rail or something. I wasn't planning on us having some gushy day because that did not feel right for where we were, but it's still funny to me in hindsight.

I think Valentine's day peaks after you've been together 6 months and less than 3 years. After that who gives an eff.

He asked for it. It’s okay, he is legit.

This. V day is so awkward when you are newly dating.

I think if you got 0, he's just not that into you. Text = 0.5

He had another date of V-day.

I wouldn’t expect anything at all

I suggest you go watch Tinder Swindler and don’t give him your credit card.

Lol no danger of that he’s verifiably who he says he is.

+1 If pre-sex, the text was nice. If post-sex, I'd expect some kind of token.

I wouldn't have even expected a text if not exclusive...

The signature is weird for #2. Too much.

Same. We have gone out 6 times in five months (travel a lot) and he is out of town. It seems fine.
