I am going to try and stick with eggs for breakfast (assuming there is something other than pastries), salads (no cheese, hopefully some protein) for lunch, and whatever is something healthy on the menu for dinner. I will have no control over any of the meals, but figure there will always be a salad option, and if I can have some high protein snacks, it should help me through the week.
Thanks for the update. So it’s more about having food for when you had to choose a skimpy meal to stay healthy. Pouches of tuna (I would pack a fork). Nuts divide up in serving sizes (since you said this is for weight control). Same for peanut butter.
But most hotels have fridges in them. For similar work travel I pack cheese sticks and deli meat with an ice pack in a collapsible cooler in my suitcase. They do well with just an ice pack for travel.
If breakfast is limited/mainly cold, look for peanut butter near the bread and bagels. There is often some. If you are ok with some carbs, just slather a bunch on a half piece of toast. Eggs are better, but this is better than just eating carbs.
