What is sad about someone liking their body? Being proud of the work they put in to stay fit, healthy and good looking? |
|
Why do you feel you're offending people - are you rude or annoying?
|
DP and there is absolutely nothing sad about women being comfortable at the pool or anywhere else. It's sad that you've been conditioned to think the way you do. |
| I always wear the smallest bikini I can find and I look amazing. |
| I look terrible in a bikini and wear them anyway. I love feeling the water on my tummy. As long as the top can haul these melons comfortably I’m good. Bra sized tops and high waisted bottoms. |
| No one cares OP. |
I love you… |
Thank goodness for your huge boobs! I love them… |
|
Please wear what you want, OP.
Uptight judgey women on DCUM won't like it, but in the pools I got to, full of immigrants and non-white people of all origins, bikinis are the norm. When I go to white private pools in Bethesda, the women tend to wear one pieces. Just be yourself. I prefer bikinis because I'm slender with a long torso and one pieces are generally for people with larger chests but shorter torsos. |
| Moms in dc can be frumpy and overly conservative. It’s like they think they must cover up once they have the children. One pieces and long loose dresses. Boring. I wear a bikini and so can you. Being a mom is hard enough to feel judged for looking good and confident. |
| I wear them. I don’t really like one pieces and I still feel confident in a bikini. But yes, I’ve noticed I’m in the minority. |
| 47 year old here and no plans to stop wearing them. I like them and that's the only thing that matters to me. |
I say please don't. Yes, you are offending people by wearing a bikini. |
| I have big breasts and I'm also wearing one. It's more comfortable |
She is not offending me. Your stupidity offends me, though. Can you please not come to the pool? Thanks. |
