Our insurance paid for stainless. We paid the difference oop for tooth colored. No root canal required.
Child crowns come in standard sizes—not individually cast. More painful to put in but also done in one session. |

We love this practice... McLean Pediatric Dentistry! We initially just went for 2nd opinions but stayed. Dentists will do tooth-colored crowns (or at least they did several years ago). They are conservative, minimal use of laughing gas and won't put kids out just to make it easy for them.

| It is difficult when a dentist explains how the stsinless steel is the best option and why but then it sounds like not all dentists agree it us the best. Why do they think kids don't care if they have a stainless steel crown? It does not look good. It is absolutely minimized I feel like what a big deal it might be especially for some kids who might be more affected by it.???? |
