At what age did your child walk?

#1 at exactly 12 months. #2 at about 14 months.

14 months. He cruised forever (or at least it felt like forever). But, once he started, he was off and running.

I think he didn't want to let go until he was sure he could do it.

17.5 months for us! It seemed like forever. DD was just content getting everywhere on her knees (she could practically run on her knees) and then one day, boom, she walked across the room. After about two weeks of knee-walking/regular walking transition, she was officially walking on her feet all the time at 17.5 months and hasn't looked back since. Everyone had told me that I would miss the days before DD could walk because once she was walking, she'd be getting into everything. They were wrong. She does get into everything, yes, but I am grateful for every second of it, after waiting 17.5 months for it to happen.

Just over 16 months. She took a step or two at 14 months but didn't really do much else for 2.5 months after.
