9 months. Didn't skip crawling.
Mine is 14 months and has just started taking some very shaky steps. He's been cruising since about 8 months, so I have been very surprised that he didn't walk sooner. He has a big sister too, thought that might motivate, but she didn't walk until 14.5 months either.
2 weeks after her first birthday.
13 months for both of them.
14 months.
2 days after 18 months. She cruised forever. Now she's 22 months and running everywhere.
11 months. Neighbor's kid: 15 months. But you can't the difference now - both run around everywhere.
First was 11.5 mos. The second was days after turning 10 mos.
18 months!!!! The fastest crawler I ever met never needed to walk. Was practically running within a week.
About a week after her 1st birthday..
He was taking several steps at a time, from one thing/person to another, at 8.5 months; really, truly walking by 10 months.
both sons ~14-15 months. they were big guys. they could walk pushing a cart, etc. a little earlier than that. I was very thankful they were not early walkers.
crawling is very good for brain development...check out the studies. I thought some woman was kooky at the park when she commented on my firstborn's crawling 'form'...she actually had studied child develop. and had tons of data on correlation of crawling and brain development. Good to hear when I was getting tired of hearing since he was 9 months old 'is he walking yet? is he walking yet?!"
