Everybody in Richmond knows he’s creepy. But the woman is 25 now and went on to have three more kids with him and has gone on record to say it was totally consensual. I don’t think that’s their wedding picture. Is it? But it is weird as hell. He’s a weird, shady guy…been around forever!

Over the years there have been many rumors of Morrissey being transactional with young attractive Black women who need legal help. At least one recounted it in the press. The young woman he married was 17 when her father raised concerns. The age of consent in Virginia is 18 if you all need a reminder. It was found Morrissey texted a nude photo of the girl to a friend and said something of the nature, "look what I had last night." He was 56 years old at the time. Barf. He was only convicted of a misdemeanor. Here when an attorney is tried for a crime or a driving offense, the judges schedule it last on the dockett and close the courtroom. Let me find the happy couple's wedding photo that he released to the media. Look at the symbolism, plantation owner towering above his conquest:

Well that didn't take long. Joe Morrissey is alleged to have threatened the president of a local NAACP chapter (Petersburg) over statements and Facebook posts the man had made re Morrissey's relationship with his wife (when she was 17 and working for him). This happened during a constituent meeting in another representative's office to discuss the proposed casino in Petersburg which the NAACP opposes but Morrissey supports.

"Lafayette Jefferson, the president of the Petersburg chapter of the NAACP, said the threat came during a meeting Monday afternoon inside the office of Del. Kim Taylor, R-Chesterfield, that started off as a constituent meeting about a Morrissey bill that the group opposes.

Jefferson said in an interview that after he expressed opposition to Morrissey’s bill, which would let Petersburg voters approve a casino in their locality through a referendum, Morrissey confronted Jefferson about a 2019 Facebook post in which Jefferson compared the senator’s relationship with his wife to that between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings, who was enslaved at Monticello.

Morrissey, in an interview, confirmed he made the threat to Jefferson. “He put a posting that referred to my wife being concurrently and continually, and I'm going to spell it because there's a lot of little ears around, [raped],” Morrissey said. “And I'll repeat it again. If he ever does anything that threatens my wife or children, that's exactly what I'll do.”

He is complete and total scumbag who also had two more kids in some new affair while married to Myrna. And she claims he hit her, he filed false claims that she allowed her son to be abused (were thrown out), that he started asking her for nudes 2 weeks after she started working for him at 17, and more. The entire thing is disgusting. I feel awful for this woman.
