A birkin is not an evening bag, so it never goes out to dinner with me. Brunch/lunch/coffee yes, and it goes on a chair or on the floor. It's a tote bag.

I never said it was a Birkin. It is a Kelly. But people are missing the point - what do owners of other pricey bags do with them when not a clutch or crossbody - Chanel flap, Delvaux, Celine, whatever.

No birkin here and I think I started this thread back in 2022. I sit my Celine’s on a chair or like the other PP my lap/legs. I do not however request a separate chair for my bag. I recall a thread about that!
