I would like to but I don’t know if it actually works for my day to day purse - my purse may be too heavy to stay put. |
| I put it on the floor or on a chair and I go about my life without dumb stuff like this. |
| Sometimes when I’m in DCUM I like to imagine people, like OP and PP, sitting together over coffee and having this convo face to face. |
|
I am unclear how this works. It let you stick your purse to certain metal tables? But not wood tables, for example.
How often are you in a situation where it works? |

No, but my stylist has something like this at her station and it’s pretty cool:
Lizimandu Purse Hook Set of 4 - Foldable Handbag Hanger Folding Table Hanger Holder Womens Bag Storage(Night_Sky) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NT3DZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_57QXQ3NHRK9TYDW4ESE1 |
| Is this the same thing as the purse hook my mom gave me when I was in my early 20s? |
LOL, we posted at the same time, that's similar to what I'm talking about! |
| I like this concept but I just had a vision of myself exiting a metro/subway car and suddenly getting jerked back by my purse like a fish on fishing line. |
| I haven't used this before but broke a purse hook many years ago. (I carry my life in my handbags.) With crime the way it is these days, I'd be too wary to leave a purse where I felt like someone could just grab it and run. |
I would do it, friends can’t let friends buy purse magnets. |
I got one as a gift and it just sat at the bottom of my purse. |
| Except most tables are. . .wood. |
| I’m getting one because I think it will be great for public restrooms, which often don’t have hooks anymore. Plus, who wants to put their purse on the floor in any public place, especially a restroom! Yuck! I also like these because it seems like a better option than hanging a purse on the back of a chair. At least hanging on the front of the arm of the chair or on the table, in eye’s view, seems safer. |
| I doubt this works the way you'd want it to. And I'd be pissed if a customer scraped up my wood tables with the open hook version. |

I was recently gifted an Hermes bag and am wondering what people with high end bags do with them at a restaurant if they're not small enough to be placed on the table. You don't want to hang on your seat as someone could steal it. It is pretty uncomfortable to put it behind your back (between you and then chair) and also uncomfortable to keep on your lap. What do folks do?
