Has anyone bought a Bagnet? The purse magnet

Anonymous
I have one! I use it for my day to day purse. When the table is made of wood I either stick it to the chair or the stem of the table if that is metal.

You don't want to hang on your seat as someone could steal it. It is pretty uncomfortable to put it behind your back (between you and then chair) and also uncomfortable to keep on your lap. What do folks do?

Sell it and buy a nice fake one. The gifted will never know and you won’t have to live your life trying to protect a very expensive handbag.

I don’t think there’s a cool way to carry those any more but if there is, it’s probably to treat it roughly.

The point is what do people do with their high end bags - substitute with Chanel, Celine, whatever. I normally take a crossbody or clutch out to dinner and never cared about putting something like an LV Neverfull on the floor.

Lizimandu Purse Hook Set of 4 - Foldable Handbag Hanger Folding Table Hanger Holder Womens Bag Storage(Night_Sky) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078NT3DZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_57QXQ3NHRK9TYDW4ESE1

I have this. Only issues is with very thick table tops the hook part isn't long enough. I can hang my purse next to me rather than on back of chair, my lap, or on the table.

Doesn't scratch tabletops.

They go to restaurants where everyone else is carrying Hermes/Chanel/etc and put it on the nicely upholstered seat next to them. If they’re slumming, they zip it into a decoy Le Pliage they can keep folded up in their nice bag.

I only use fancy (not even high end) bags for things like weddings or parties. Never at a restaurant or on a vacation.

If I had a Hermes I would only dine at restaurants that have handbag stools or tiny chairs.

Don't take it to dinner.

Yay, even less floor space in a restaurant, so Mimi can pull her oversized handbag up to the table like a toddler.

I put mine in my lap or lock my knees and put the strap over them and hold it between my calves. (sideways if that makes sense).

No issue with this product but my bag is heavier than 8 lbs and I'm too busty to wear these weird belt bags/fanny packs/city bags that wrap around your body. I'd never find crap if I had to look/feel under my boobs for it.

A birkin is not an evening bag, so it never goes out to dinner with me. Brunch/lunch/coffee yes, and it goes on a chair or on the floor. It's a tote bag.

While having lunch in a popular chain restaurant in a nice section of dc, a guy lifted my wallet out of my zipped purse while it was hanging on the chair back and at my side. He was so fast I only noticed when it grabbed it and then ran. The only safe place is in my lap.

I never said it was a Birkin. It is a Kelly. But people are missing the point - what do owners of other pricey bags do with them when not a clutch or crossbody - Chanel flap, Delvaux, Celine, whatever.
