No, but I'm able to recognize that a school my child wouldn't choose can still have intelligent students. |

You and I know that, but that isn't what PP said. I may not choose 'Bama, and it was not a school my DC considered; I just don't see the need to make rude, inaccurate statements. |

I hate Alabama, especially right now. (Go Dawgs!) But it is a very good school. I don’t understand why people feel the need to bash a college that kids are excited about. What do these posters gain? I don’t know any adults who act like this. And no. I don’t have kids at Alabama. That would be blasphemous in our family.

| It will be quite the culture shock coming from the DC area. I know someone who grew up in Alabama but didn’t go to Bama for university. She loves going back there to visit but does acknowledge people are pretty racist |

OMG thank you for this. I have been distressed about a friend spending loads of $$$ to get her daughter pledged into a sorority...mainly investment in clothing, makeup, and hair. Yuck. |

I think we’ll see Georgia and Alabama play again in the National Championship. These are so obviously the two strongest teams in the nation. |
