I am a writer who has stopped writing during the pandemic. I have been able to finish a few projects for clients because obviously I need an income, but I feel terrified that I will not be able to keep it up. I am afraid to ask if I should try to switch careers, so instead I will ask: can I find the will to write again? Can I find joy in this work again?

Hello! So I use Oracle cards and cards with words that I have written myself to help me get a better feel.

For you I pulled the "Practice Positivity" card, along with the words Lost, Strength, Bring to Life, and Release.

I feel like this next move will be positive if you allow yourself to feel positive about it. Try to look at the good it can bring instead of questioning what could go wrong or thinking that it was a bad move. Let go of negative thoughts or ideas about it. So the 9 OF SWORDS reversed can represent hopelessness and despair, but the 6 of SWORDS represents moving on so what I am feeling from this reading is:

I use both oracle and tarot cards depending on the reading and what I am pulled towards. I read intuitively. I use about 8 different oracle decks, hand written cards, and tarot cards. In a full reading I sometimes use up to 8 different decks and for the ones I am doing her about 3. The cards are just a tool.

In the future, I will be sure to put both in the title and I apologize if you feel misled in anyway.

OP again! I use both tarot and oracle cards in my readings. I read intuitively and use the cards as a tool. I apologize if anyone feels misled by me not strictly using only the tarot decks. I have found in the past it’s easier to say Tarot as a catch all instead of spending time trying to explain that oracle cards are words and phrases that are keywords to bring about the story that is woven together by reading the cards. Tarot is mostly symbolic, but each card has its own keywords. I find that using the oracle decks as well as the tarot give a more complete picture. Sometimes I am pulled to use only tarot, sometimes only the oracle cards and sometimes both.

Hi OP. I was laid off from a new career during COVID and had twins in the aftermath. I’m struggling to figure out what to do careerwise while I stay home with them. Should I go back into my old field, where I have lots of connections and experience? Should I try something new? Feeling stuck.

I desperately want to sell and buy something new but finances, good school districts and commutes all make finding a place in our budget tricky. Do you see a move in the future and when? Hi OP, this is so timely. My husband and I are empty-nesters and considering a big geographic move to a place I've wanted to live for a long time. We are on the fence mostly because it just seems so huge. We are considering a "half-move," i.e. buying a smallish place there to test the waters for part of the year, but just don't know if that's right either.

Hello! The Cards I pulled are ACCESS CLEAR THINKING, the 5 of WANDS, the QUEEN OF CUPS, THE END OF A TOUGH CYCLE APPROACHES

So I feel like you need to make sure you are thinking clearly and not allowing doubt to creep in, or overthink a situation. I feel like the solution to anything that may be causing a delay is that you need to get a bit more creative in your resume or during interviews. Try something different that can make you stand out from everyone else. Should you do this, with the oracle card suggesting the end of a tough cycle approaches, it appears that you may find yourself employed.

I feel you need to make sure that you are professional when interviewing, but allow your personality to shine though. That will do you good.
