I like it! I just watched Julie Delpy yelling at that dad at the soccer practice, saying something like she isn’t scared of him and isn’t scared of men. I feel like that all the damn time.

Yes! I felt so seen

She is hysterical.

Just finished this very odd show. I thought it would be laugh out loud funny, like Workin’ Moms. Instead, I found myself (at best) slightly amused occasionally. This was such a weird, bad show.

I found the first episode very tedious. I think I’ll give Working Moms a try instead!!

I liked it too, I'm mid 50s and my kids are similar ages to characters.

+1 the women on working mom are soooooooo annoying.

I found the women on On the Verge to be more annoying than the annoying women in Workin' Moms. Especially Ell, the one who decides to film her family to try and make a buck. Insufferable.

And Yasmine, the neurotically overprotective mother. Yeesh. Anne, the one who's always high, laughs at everything, and hooks up with quite possibly the most unappealing man I've seen in recent memory.

Then there's Justine, who would be ok, but who lets her husband insult and take advantage of her, constantly. Grow a spine, Justine.

Ugh. Can't believe I wasted hours on this unfunny show.

What’s a good series with middle age girl friends? Easy to watch, relatable, sometimes funny, not so serious but also not dumb!

Justine was the only character that grew on me, and had some good moments. The rest were dolts, which is a function of the mostly terrible writing. Yasmine's storyline was just about the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and the rest weren't much better.

+1
Agreed! WTH was that whole storyline? It took way too much energy to try and follow. Ridiculous. Another really bad episode was the one where Justine is catering a dinner at that rich guy's house and everything goes wrong. Just so, so bizarre.

You could try girlfriends guide to divorce- it’s easy to have on and fly through but it’s not relatable (at least not to me though I wouldn’t mind their wardrobe or houses…)
