Lemons! What to do....

I have two more giant bags of perfectly ripe lemons. Ideas? Lemonade, lemon muffins, and a lemon tart already have been made....

detox water- juice 3-5 large lemons, add sliced ginger and a table spoon of tumeric. Add to a lot of water. Drink over the course of 5 days. Squish one up in the garbage disposal.

Sorbet? Lemon curd? Lemon merengue pie? Juice & freeze for later? Salt preserved lemons? Lemon marmalade?

When you're sick of lemon flavor, cut some and scrub with them. Lots of uses for coarse salt & half a lemon as scrub- scour cutting boards, stainless sinks, copper pots (does anyone still use those?), elbows, etc. Then grind them up in the disposal as PP suggested- great to freshen up.

You can juice them then strain them and tfreeze in ice cube trays. Pop one or two out when you need lemon juice.

+1 for preserved lemons! Been meaning to make a batch myself, actually.

You could also stick them in the cavities of roasted chickens or slice them thin and stick them under the skin before roasting.

This recipe for lemon garlic chicken is pretty good: http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-lemon-garlic-chicken-105587
