| Happy St Joseph's Day! I want to eat a cannoli. Any place I can get one in DC? |
| Call Vacarros in Baltimore and ask who they distribute to in DC (the one in DC closed but they send their stuff to local restaurants/cafes in DC I think). Theirs are the best. |
| Try Vace or Cornocopia in Bethesda |
|
Vaccaros has an actual cannoli factory at 8949 Brookeville road in Silver spring. Go, knock on the back door and a lady will open up and sell you canolis, large or small, with the filling. You can't buy just one.... You have to buy a dozen with filling. Fortunately, a dozen of The small with filling bag is only about $12. The cream comes opin a plastic bag, frozen.

HAHAHA. I love this. Backdoor Italian pastries. And I would like a dozen - right now in my mouth! |
| 10:58, that is the best information I'll get all day! I've passed that place lots of times but never stopped. Now I am definitely stopping! In fact, I'll be over there on Friday! Oooh, I can't wait! |
I know the Union Station location closed, is the foggy bottom one closed too? Agree they are the best in the area. |
| i have also passed by that place. i see their signs about cannolis and have always wondered about the mechanics of getting them since they look wholesale (but their signs are all like "come in, buy some!") |
| Maybe the Italian Store in Arlington? Their menu only shows the pizza, subs, etc. but you could call and ask. |
| You can do carry out from Two Amys. |
They do have cannoli and they're good. |
| I love Cornucopia in Bethesda! |
| Ok, DCUM, now where can I buy sfogliatelle!? I need my fix... |
| Litteri's by the Union Market in DC |

Foggy Bottom Vaccaros closed about 2 years ago. I thought they had gone out of business!
Vace used to have sfogliatelle. Haven't looked for a while, but I bet they do. |
