The "uniform" was invoked as a way to corroborate her belief that she was looking at Kavanaugh.
The problem with invoking "Georgetown Prep uniform" is that there is no way to know if someone who is identified as wearing a "Georgetown Prep uniform" goes to Georgetown Prep, one of the other boys schools, or is a geeky public school student who prefers wearing slacks and a tie.

When the uniform/dress code is simply "collared shirt, slacks, tie" you cannot easily identify which of the many schools that share that uniform/dress code the person wearing it attends.

None of which matters, however, since Swetnick's statement is uncorroborated by anyone, including everyone in the county who she said knew about the parties. And of course she herself has declined to go to the police and file a report. Her odd comment about a Georgetown Prep uniform is the least of the holes.

Indeed, all of this is lagniappe.

Brett perjured, about issues big and “small.” (I remember a time when goppers - Petty Bretty included - felt that perjury was almost a hanging offense)
Brett is owned by some mysterious benefactor to the tune of at least $400,000. Do you think judges should be owned by someone?
Why was the domain “confirmkavanugh” registered in February 2017?
Brett showed his total lack of fitness for the bench by losing his temper and raging about conspiracy theories and revenge. Spare us your “he was defending his honor!” malarkey - judges don’t get to do that by acting like angry drunks. He is completely without judicial temperment.

Perjury that is either proven not to be perjury, like FFFF and Devils Triangle, or perjury that no one cares to follow up on, like the 2004 and 2006 hearings.
None of the Senators thought his debt was a big issue, which is obvious since none of the Democratic Senators continued banging that drum.
Perhaps you could contact the owner of “confirmkavanugh” and ask. Are you trying to assert something shady happened?
Kavanaugh definitely showed his anger and frustration at being accused of everything from sexual assault to gang rape. Some thought that was an issue, which I believe are the complaints filed that Roberts has sent to a judge to consider. Do you think Roberts has not dealt with this appropriately?
Have there been complaints about his behavior on the bench? It's not like we can't examine his judicial temperament since he's been a judge for years.

And no one is following up on perjury. And no one is following up on sexual assault or gang rape.

Yes, he perjured.
Yes, he has insane debt to some unknown shadowy figure or entity.
Yes, something shady happened around every aspect of Kennedy’s retirement and Bretty’s nomination.
Yes, he’s like a short-fused drunk and should be nowhere near the bench.

In other words: he’s perfect judge for the kind of scum who support the GOP.

Kavanaugh got 1. Manchin.

That's a helluva lot more than Merrick Garland got.

Merrick Garland’s fangirl is back.

No citation needed.

Garland is too old, too white, and too moderate-liberal to ever be nominated to the S Ct by the next Dem President.

+1
Liberals now consider moderates the enemy. Their next nominee will have to be an avowed socialist to get any traction from Democrats.

That and the refusal for Kavanaugh to call for an investigation to clear his name.

He will always be the SCJ who "kavanaughs" women.

There is no clearing your name. I can't prove I didn't assault someone 35 years ago. I can call for all the investigations in the world and I'm not going to be able to prove a thing. If someone accuses me, they are more than welcome to investigate.

Have you called for an investigation to prove that you didn't sexually assault some one when you were 17? If you haven't, you're guilty.

He had the ability back in JULY, before anything was public knowledge. But he didn't. Instead he was busy tampering with witnesses about the assault on Ramirez.

You mean Feinstein and the Democrats had the ability, back in JULY, to have all of this investigated without dragging anyone's name publicly through the mud. It could all have been accomplished very quietly. But it wasn't. This could all have been over long ago. But that doesn't seem to faze you.

+1 Because an earlier investigation wouldn't have had the same effect as an accusation made public at the last minute.

+2 Diane Feinstein is evil to have done that to Dr. Ford.

Dianne Feinstein didn’t leak it.

Knowing that the GOP likes their stolen emails, I’m going to guess the GOP did it.

Since the GOP knew nothing of the letter or the identity of the person writing it, that would be kind of tough to do.

Precisely. This major blunder is all on the Democrats.

You literally just described a school uniform.

A bunch of boys prep schools have the uniform of a jacket and tie. How would it identify Georgetown Prep vs an entirely different boys school?

Right, so a school uniform.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Prep does not have a uniform. They have a dress code. For what it's worth i'll tell you what it is.

You have to wear a blazer/sports coat, have a button down shirt (short or long sleeve), wear a tie, have a pair of slacks or khaki pants, a belt and dress shoes on.

Some teachers don't strictly enforce the dress code. Some, especially the older Jesuit priests, are very strict about it.

No dress code at Prep but feel free to keep talking about something you know nothing about.

There are all sorts of codes there--the devil's triangle lie code being among the more hilarious ones in light of it being a 'no neck jock' school filled with towel snapping homophobes.

I surprised anyone thinks a public school has a dress code. Have you seen what public school kids wear? The teachers are no better.

20% of public schools require a uniform. Cocky and stupid. Not a good combination.

Speaking of stupid, there is a distinction between “dress code” and “uniform,” or are you too cocky to understand that?

Cocky, stupid, and illiterate.

“It’s still a uniform even if it doesn’t have a school emblem.

To someone from a public school with no uniform at all, just a dress code, it’s a uniform. “

DP. Using your "argument," then he could just as easily been a student at Landon, Gonzaga, St. Albans - or any all boys' school in the area. Since they all required only a jacket, tie, and pants as their dress code. But no, she said she "recognized" his "Georgetown Prep uniform." Idiots.

You will not get a rational answer here. The man has a spotless record and is considered one of the greatest intellects of our time.

Let me ask you. Did you WATCH his testimony?

For the THOUSANDTH time:

If he didn't have anything to worry about:

- He would have welcomed an FBI Investigation (if I were in his shoes and innocent I would say to the FBI, BRING IT ON)
- He would have not perjured himself multiple times (about the Ford accusations but also about matters relating to his time with Bush)
- He would not have expressed the hostility he did (if innocent, why the need for rage? Calmly explain yourself)
- His appointment would not have been rushed through - see GORSUCH
- Unexplained debts, taxes, etc.
- Misconduct complaints referred from Justice Roberts to Colorado Circuit Court

Clearly UNQUALIFIED but the good ole boys and gals around here want to believe this guy is a saint for whatever reason.

Your boy made it - have another kegger to celebrate.

He was simply bought and is Trump's "Get Out of Jail Free" card.

DISGUSTING.

Now all three branches of our government have been severely compromised thanks to TRUMP.

We may never recover. Just do some googling before you flame me.

No one said he was a saint; not sure where you came up with that. I doubt anyone sitting on the SC is a "saint." How ridiculous.

Those of us who believe in something as basic as due process will continue to side with him. Wacko partisans, such as yourself, are only being dismissed as just that. Wacko partisans.
