Sean “Diddy” Combs accused of gang rape of teen girl in new lawsuit

Anonymous
AUSA Comey: He coerced Cassie and Jane in to this - and nothing happened. He raped Mia - and nothing happened. He beat Cassie and nothing happened. He beat Cassie in hotel on tape, then bribed the guards to buy it - and nothing happened. He was untouchable
He did not think these woman would speak - and that Kid Cudi and Deonte Nash and other men would back them up. The defendant is not a God. He stands equal before the law. Find him guilty.

And that was how the prosecution finished up their rebuttal. The jurors have been released. I predict a verdict by Wednesday/Thursday.

Diddy's son was escorted out of court today for wearing a "Free Sean Combs" shirt underneath a sheer shirt.

If nothing else defense closing is funny as hell and probably worth the risk of asking why did they go after him and charge these crimes. A lot of this is voicing what some on the jury may be thinking. On the other hand his actions in total are so bad jury may want to find him guilty anyway.

Are govt criminal prosecutors paid like $200-300k a year total and private defense attorneys make $1000/hour and over $1m a year income?

Is there a big chasm between the talent on each side here? I mean if I was a super smart, driven, analytical, persuasive attorney why would I stay in the public sector? (Unless trust fund or high income spouse, and even then, I’m probably naturally competitive so…)

Such a bonehead comparison. Are you really this dumb?

You do realize there isn’t a salaried $1M private defense attorney job that one applies for, right? This sort of salary comes only to a rarefied few who manage to develop a stable of wealthy clients who pay them these sorts of fees.

I see what camp you are in PP.

Whhhooooosh over your head.

Nope, I see your point but it’s still a dumb statement. Prosecutors are typically quite talented lawyers. It’s not very high paying but is considered prestigious.

And there is always going to be the option for someone wealthy to pay an obscenely expensive lawyer for crim cases. But these people are few and far between. Very rare. Most crim clients depend on public defenders.

Oh brother. Is that jury tampering at this stage?

I would not convict him. I am white and a woman. I do not think the case was proven. I feel the case was too much about domestic abuse but that is not the charge. I would
convict on that charge if it was a charge. i do not think he was running a criminal operation. He is an abusive guy with sex habits that I have heard of meaning the swinging stuff. It is a strange life but clearly some people like that which is why there are actual sex clubs.

But he didn’t go to a sex club he ran his own…sex business. Money changed hands. That’s a fact. He controlled women and men with abusive tactics. That’s a fact. What else is needed to prove criminal intent?

Yes, prosecutors are federal employees and they all make less than $300K per year. Many/most (?) make less than $200K per year.

Does anyone know if Nintendo is going to rename one of their characters "Diddy Kong" following the accusations of Diddy himself?
