That could be too. Sepsis can happen with even a minor procedure. So can aspiration pneumonia. It could be something else that got lost in translation, but something is up. I have a previously very healthy young relative who had this and was in an induced coma on a respirator for at least a week last year. Could that happen as a side effect of planned surgery? I don’t think they are lying about the abdominal surgery as it would be a weird lie so I think perhaps either a clot from the surgery or sepsis or colostomy bag. Regardless she probably feels like crap I just cannot see a real reason for any of the conspiracies — if will really wants a divorce he’ll just wait until Charles is gone and do it in a year. If she’s dead, they gain nothing by lying about it — they can’t weekend at Bernie her.

Posting again to say it is a risk any time you have a procedure, even minor using anesthesia. Some things increase your risk.

Yes...talking to you ozempic. (And wegovy, etc). Anesthesia Now recommending one week pre surgery off the meds to curtail aspiration risks...for emergency surgery, we hope for the best. But I digress...

Meghan Markle was suicidal and the palace forbid her from getting treatment. There’s been whiskers about Kate Middletin’s eating disorder for a long time, but no intervention or treatment, presumably because the place forbids mental health treatment.

The TMZ picture is obviously a very swollen Kate.

Kate is sick from a very likely eating disorder that was exacerbated by her miserable marriage to William.

The miserable marriage definitely involves William’s infidelity, and DV could be a factor, too.

Whatever it is, it’s awful.

This is my take as well however her sister and brother vacationing happily in the weeks after her alleged surgery don’t align with what I presume would be grave concern over DV. If anything her siblings carrying on happily on vacation seems like a slap in the face to the palace covering up her absence. That said the ambulances at sandringham over the holidays I think do indicate some health crisis. But I agree the marriage is the bigger issue. We’ve seen Kate step away before, for things like maternity leave, but her presence was still very much there via social media and William’s words at events. This is very different. It’s also different from how the palace is approaching Charles illness- he too has been filmed thanking people for all the support. Kate is completely MIA and it’s 100% unlike her.

I think it is an eating disorder that caused some kind of physical issue that ultimately required surgery. I think the not being able to be seen in public problem is that they are treating the body but her head is not in it. As someone who has/had an ED, if you are being forced to put on weight, all you see in the mirror is failure to maintain discipline and you feel like you would rather die than fail. I don’t think she’s able at the moment to smile for the camera. I also don’t think she’s ready to be the public face of eating disorders, which explains some of the uncle’s cryptic comments - if “they announce” then he will comment. And despite all of William’s words about mental health, he’s not able to cope with the ED thing, and just wants her to get over it. He’s his father’s son, not just his mother’s.

Causes of GI perforation include forceful vomiting. Not sure it's in this article, but I know someone who perforated her bowel with laxative abuse and needed surgery.

Maybe so....and it's always been associated with worse recovery outcomes. Karen Carpenter was a major, long term laxative abuser for example.

This pic just does not align with the story of Kate and ED. There's no way she's gained this much weight in this short amount of time. (Sure, I could probably, but I don't think someone with an ED could). So the person is either not Kate or Kate on steroids.

If she were truly "just" ill and convalescing, no matter the illness (physical, mental, whatever), the sensible and obvious response would be for Prince William AND the Middletons to make a joint statement, or at least publicly communicate the same sentiment. Even if the sentiment is "lay off, she's going to be fine, thanks, respect her privacy." But that is not happening so clearly they are not unified. So it does indeed seem to be more than just what they say. Even with marital troubles, you'd think families who love her would agree to publicly support and defend her.

Not at all. Eating disorders can cause bowel ischemia, bowel perforation, stomach perforation, and arterial aneurysms.

some are saying three weeks now. Just schedule cataracts and scheduler asked if I took any semiglutides (I don’t) and if so it is three weeks off the meds.
