Trump’s Dementia

They all know this horrible man is a fraud who has dementia that's very dangerous for the country. Yet they act like nothing's happening, all is well. This is insanity, yet it continues unabated.

And it's not like they haven't griped about Trump all these years. They've hated him for years. In the first term, the GOP congress was already complaining about him behind closed doors.

I blame the rightwing media ecosystem, owned in part by Murdoch. That man has wrought destruction on the USA. The Trump cult has taken a life of its own, and elected representatives are afraid to organize against the President because they fear what the rightwing pundits will tell the base. Meanwhile, as was seen during the last Trump term, these same media pundits think very poorly of Trump, but go along because... they think he's untouchable???

Everyone seems to be waiting for someone else to not be a coward.

There's a famous story about Stalin where he gave a speech and everyone clapped. And clapped. And clapped. They clapped and clapped because no one wanted to be the first one that stopped clapping. Finally someone thought "This is ridiculous -- we've clapped for a very long time." and stopped clapping and sat down. Everyone was very relieved to finally stop clapping. And guess what happened to that brave dude who was the first to stop clapping?
It may be apocryphal, but that's the vibe we're living in.

But eventually, people don’t care because they are suffering too much. That is what happened to Ceaucescu in Romania — he was giving one of his speeches and Romanians (who were starving because Ceaucescu was using all their money to build the People’s Palace and other monuments to himself (sound familiar?) started to heckle him, which led to his downfall and death four days later.

He also posted this yesterday. It supposedly depicts Candace Owens.

He also managed a racist attack on Hakeem Jeffries. Totally normal.

He’s always been a racist. Now it’s just all spilling out due to dementia and lack of a filter. This is who he has always been, can’t hide it, handlers don’t even want to bother.

They don’t bother because his comments reflect the views of his base. His base doesn’t perceive him as saying anything wrong. My MAGA relatives thought his reposting of the AI depiction of the Obamas as apes was “funny.”

That's the disgusting stuff Democrats have to REMEMBER this fall, it can't all just go down the memory hole. This garbage needs to resurface as a constant reminder that he's sick and incompetent and his advisors and the congressmen and women who support him all need to go because they have no scruples.

“Low IQ” is Trump’s favorite go-to racist dogwhistle. He uses it instead of the n-word, the way a smoker reaches for nicotine gum when they’d really rather have a cigarette. You can tell he’s holding back.

Ironically, he himself is one of the stupidest, most unaware, intellectually incurious post turtles ever to go into politics (and there’s some stiff competition there). It’s like being called dumb by a rock. As usual, everything he says is self-loathing projection turned outwards.

I hope the next dementia test he takes has a question along the lines of "A drug is usually priced at $600 but is on sale for $100. What percent discount is this?"

Norah O'Donnell wasn't even trying hard and managed to get some money quotes from Trump today:

O'DONNELL: In his manifesto, he wrote that 'I'm no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, & traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.'

TRUMP: I'm not a rapist. I'm not a pedophile. You read that crap from a sick person. You should be ashamed of yourself, reading that. You're a disgrace.

TRUMP: I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody

O'DONNELL: Oh, you think he was referring to you?

Trump is a disgusting pig.

Well, Trump was being evacuated from the ballroom, he fell to the ground. That could happen to anyone, but the fact that he denies it is interesting. He is acutely aware of appearing to look physically weak like he accused Joe Biden of looking.

I'm sorry, but I burst out laughing when I got to the Clint Eastwood part. It's like definitional delusional boomer dementia. It's not funny, I know.

I suggest some of you read the news:

He has no love lost with Schumer and what Schumer said about ICE was nasty. If he said the same about Israel, Y’all would be cheering him on. Read what Tusli Gabbard has been declassifying and talking about lately regarding the 2016 Russia scandal. Time will tell. Eastwood has had some nice things to say about Trump. SPLC is in a heap of trouble for sure. Nothing Trump says here is dementia - it’s all reported news, though news y’all hate to hear so….dementia.

A fact‑based look at the claims shows the PP is relying on deflection rather than evidence.

But we can go into those deflections: Schumer’s past remarks about ICE were political criticism of specific enforcement policies, and he uses rhetoric about "shame" with ICE but nothing Schumer said was actually false. Invoking Schumer does nothing to address the issues of Trump's evident signs of dementia.

As for Tulsi Gabbard, she is clearly and willfully spinning a distorted narrative. While she highlights FBI procedural errors, multiple official investigations including the Republican‑led Senate Intelligence Committee and the DOJ Inspector General confirmed that Russia interfered in 2016 and that the FBI had legal grounds to open the inquiry. That is well documented fact that does not go away regardless of Gabbard's gaslighting, yet the PP's framing omits these findings entirely.

And the claim that the SPLC is "in trouble" for paying informants is unsupported; paying informants is legal, widely used by law enforcement and journalists, and there is no actuual evidence of SPLC of criminal wrongdoing to support the indictment.

The PP's rhetorical pattern here is clear: instead of addressing the original topic of Trump's dementia, the commenter substitutes irrelevant grievances, whataboutism, and topic‑shifting. None of the points raised: Schumer, Gabbard, SPLC, Eastwood - rebut anything about Trump’s failing cognitive state. They function as distraction tactics, not rebuttals.

Sorry, but reality‑based discussion requires engaging with the claim directly, not burying it under unrelated political talking points.

Your reality is that the Clinton campaign did not pay for the dossier? That the latest information is just a Trump fake? I trust Solomon’s reporting and the FACT that more has come out since the original findings. That fact that you are defending the SPLC? No words. Trump does not have dementia. You know it and I know it. What you are trying to do by pushing this narrative is both erase Biden’s dubious legacy and hope you can drive poll numbers in directions you want them.

All one has to do is look at the Hasan Piker thread and see how many people are embrace him. Yes, embrace.

Your media and information ecosystem is different than mine and the PP you are responding to.
The GOP senate wrote that 2019 report, and specifically Marco Rubio.
That same media ecosystem has paid over a billion in fines and restitution for lying about the 2020 election.

You have hitched your wagon to the wrong train, but such is life. At the end of the day, facts, truth and justice always prevail.
