GA Case

The order literally said there was an appearance of impropriety and that they lied about their relationship. She now needs to cut her bedfellow loose.

Everyone involved in this, on all sides, is a disgrace. This country is a joke.

It was a serious lapse in judgment to have a relationship with Wade. The church chat was also questionable. None of this affected the rights of the defendants.

Wade (probably) gone; on with the case.

Sorry Trumpies, your boy still has massive legal problems.

Of course there is.
I don't think this is the last we will hear about this judge's decision.

Add to that.... Fani is being investigated by other groups. Georgia Senate, for one.

Page 16, 'an odor of mendacity' remains.

Don’t you guys ever stop and think
“Wow, all the hot legal “takes” I hear about never seem to add up to much…”
Like how many times do you guys have to be disappointed before you realize you’ve been played by your crappy media sources?

Did you think Colorado was going to win at the Supreme Court?

The lapse in judgment was hiring the guy she was sleeping with.

Her reputation is shot.
The bolded below were actual quotes by the judge taken from the ruling.

🚨CNN ADMITS: Finding that there are reasonable questions about whether [Fani Willis] lied under oath — "Would be a career ender for a normal prosecutor."

Why isn’t Willis considered a “normal prosecutor?” We know why.

Elie Honig:

- First of all, there is a, quote, significant appearance of impropriety that infects the prosecution team.

- Second, a tremendous lack in judgment.

- Third, the unprofessional manner of the DA's testimony.

- Fourth, the odor of mendacity remains.

- Fifth, the legally improper speech with the effect to cast racial aspersions on the defendants

- And finally, I think this is the most damning. There are reasonable questions about whether the D.A. testified under truthfully, any one of these statements by a judge would be a career ender for a normal prosecutor to have an on the record finding that there are reasonable questions about whether you lied under oath.

Fani Willis enjoys special privileges that other prosecutors don’t, for a lot of reasons — most importantly because she’s a key player in Get Trump.

You do realize it was the GOP who tried to get him off the ballot, right?

The talking heads I follow prepared me for the verdict, because I don’t follow RWNJ’s.

Or sleeping with the guy she hired. She should have known better.

She should have known better and so be it to cut Wade loose - but at the end of the day it has absolutely nothing to do with Trump and as such the Trump case should proceed. As for how big of an impropriety is, whether she should be completely removed from the case, disbarred et cetera - I'll point you to Clarence Thomas. If Clarence Thomas's far more egregious conflicts of interest and improprieties aren't an issue then Fani Willis's shouldn't either.

It was all smoke and spurious accusations from of....something from the defense team, hoping to muddy the waters and delay the trial. Frankly, that was Trump's only hope. The evidence in this case is overwhelming.

It should have according to retired ultra conservative Judge Luddig and Lawrence Tribe.

It was a red herring. A part of Trump's corrupt "throw mud at your adversaries and hope something sticks!"

So should millions of other people.

Double loss for Trump, DA not DQ and they get a terrible lawyer dismissed from the case.
Only win is the judge called DA a liar, and they can maybe appeal based on that to have her thrown from the case. Question is do they really want that since she is pretty incompetent too.
