I would agree about the Bullis offense. At times, they looked disinterested. Only a few players on O seemed to know what was going on. That leads to Hero ball. As much as this pains me to say being a GZ hater, GZ’s offense looked vey good and they were playing as a team.

I was told the IAC teams aren’t ready to really play until May so the loses don’t count.

Good for Gonzaga on the win last night. They showed depth and a fight that Bullis didn't have, after a quick start by Bullis.

The contrast in styles was evident. Team ball vs individual ball.

Wouldn't matter. Based on the current play they aren't ready now.

Bullis was down 10-9 with the ball. If they tied it up they were winning in OT. They were scoring at will in the 4th. Don’t act like Gonzaga was way better.

Who was acting like they were way better. They were better by 2 goals. I don't think Gonzaga's offense was all that great either, but the club tournament style of play for Bullis is glaring. The pp nailed it several posts ago.

Didn't Bullis lose their OC from recent years?

Can take time to adjust to new coordinating, particularly on offense where there seem to be more varied ways to build offenses.

Hardly won, would’ve won - All BS

Not what I’m saying. Gonzaga was better team and won the game. It was close.

First quarter dominated by Bullis
2nd & 3rd quarter dominated by GZ’s 10 man ride. Very impressive.
4th qtr. #21 took over for Bullis. You can call that hero ball but I’d call it if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Whether he was dodging to score or dodging to assist goals he couldn’t be stopped, and Bullis needed goals.

A bad coach would take the ball out of #21’s hands in the fourth quarter. He was gaining confidence as GZ was losing confidence. The players he dished to finished the ball.

Agree.

Bullis losing their OC from the past several seasons is a big loss

Ahh, I personally thought both teams looked terrible. I doubt Landon is very worried after watching that display last night lol!

Having 21 run the offense is fine. If that’s your main weapon, use it. I’d fault GZ for not shutting him off. GZ must have either not cared about it or felt they could handle it in whatever D they were in. Either way, not impressed by the coaching. And the 10 man ride is suicide if you run it on a team that knows how to break it. The only reason it’s back in vogue is the time to clear count.

Feel bad for the GC parents. No love for beating BI by a ton. It's all Prep, Gonzaga and Landon. But they are ranked higher in the maxpreps rankings.

Play a tougher schedule.....

Only two teams in the DMV have played against some of the best this season so far. The others play a soft schedule because they claim they aren’t ready to play tough games. They have guys that play football in the IAC. Super tough.
