In the Capitol building? Insurrection isn't a protest. Go back under your bridge. |
It was not a protest. They were all garbage people who should serve time. |
All the dumb slugs should serve time. All the organizers should face the death penalty. I’m sorry, but if we don’t crack down on this kind of thinking - as we failed to do in 1865 - we will keep dealing with this again and again and again. |
Pretty clear that the Congressman is talking about the way Biden's DOJ is handling those involved on January 6th, i.e. abuse of power towards the hundreds of non-violent protesters who were able to walk in through an open door and are only being charged with trespassing. |
I am pretty sure people are not being condemned for their political beliefs, but rather for participating in a coup. Why are you ok with that? |
Because the GOP is a traitor to the country and PP likes that. There’s no other reason why they would defend an attempted coup; they just really wanted the coup to be successful. |
If you believe that 90% of famous people are blood thirsty child rapists and murderers
or that Jews use space lasers to start forest fires or that there was a giant conspiracy *that even included Republican officials and Republican appointed judges* to rig the election and change Trump’s landslide victory into a Biden administration or that the covid vaccine is being used to microchip people or you put more trust in the word of Vladimir Putin than US intelligence agencies or even that Donald Trump is good for America, then why wouldn’t you believe that a few orderly Trump supporters were waved into the Capitol at the same time that Antifa and/or FBI plants were staging a false flag attack? |
1) No one said there wasn't violence associated with the protests in the summer of 2020 2) In many/most cases, the peaceful protests included right wing agitators who instigated the violence and rioting. Not all, but many. It is documented with charges. 3) Equating peaceful protests over racial injustice with a coup is a serious fail. |
NP. If you think that was an actual coup, you don't get out much or know much about history. Most of those people in attendance were legally protesting, kind of like the BLM protests. Why you want to condemn one group but not the other shows your SJW bias. |
