While I agree that what happened on January 6th was violent in nature, why does that left insist that we "trust our eyes" when it comes to January 6th, but we're not to trust our eyes on all the numerous news reports, with video, of violence and destruction during the "protests" that occurred in the summer of 2020?

1) No one said there wasn't violence associated with the protests in the summer of 2020
2) In many/most cases, the peaceful protests included right wing agitators who instigated the violence and rioting. Not all, but many. It is documented with charges.

Most of those people in attendance were legally protesting, kind of like the BLM protests. Why you want to condemn one group but not the other shows your SJW bias.
