As far as I can tell, so far, all America has done is kill (extremely justifiably) a bunch of monstrous butchers and weakened their grip on power. So you can impose Western style government on Iran, but Iran cannot choose their own style of government, and if Iran tried to impose their regime in the US, that’d be bad too.

They already have a western style government in Iran. The ayatollah is a symbolic figure like the pope not the president. They have A parliament, elections, and a president. He’s still alive.

What it seems people want to change is culture and make it more Westwen for women and gays. Exactly. It’s also a proven fact that war and death makes people angrier and more right wing not more pro western and moderate. This failed in Afghanistan and Iraq. ISIS and the return of a more hardline taliban were the results after 3 trillion dollars wasted and more than 5,000 American soldiers dead. Trump used to always bring this up as well. As far as I can tell, so far, all America has done is kill (extremely justifiably) a bunch of monstrous butchers and weakened their grip on power. Absolute WORST case scenario, the regime persists but its nuclear ambitions are done for and it becomes more friendly to US interests.

Israel is causing problems around the world. Iran minds its own business. It indicated no threat to the United States whatsoever. In fact, they were open to negotiation multiple times as recent as last week. Whenever the us and Iran get close to a breakthrough, Bibi bombs Iran. It’s sick.
