New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

now you're relying on errors on Instagram posts as some type of evidence. you clearly have no clue what you're talking about and don't live in the area. Midwest has a fine club but at the tier 2/3 level. Just like many of non perennial powerhouse clubs across the country, they have decent coaching and put together good teams at age 12 and below. After that their best players go to Hawks or Eclipse. That's reality and Midwest getting the boot is also reality. Go to the ECNL website and post Midwest results this year across all age groups, some more reality for you.

Some other things that Facebook parents have mentioned if it’s a bit hard to accept from these clubs who have preached ECNL is the way, it’s the best, it’s the path you have to be on.

But a GA announcement and surprise hey we were just kidding on all our marketing & social media, TRUST us now (ps your deposit was non refundable)

Welcome to the real world.

It's going to happen more and more as GA continues to expand.

Hmmm ... 2nd, 5th, 15th, 15th, 11th, 15th ... Some strong and bad results, enough for the boot, tho? That's what's head-scratching.

That insta ISN'T the first social oops regarding them and Midwest. Clearly you are missing out on their rivalry, which certainly would be true with those players leaving. That's why it seems political to me. I give the Hawks credit, tho, they've leveraged their long-term success into a pipeline for most of MI girls soccer talent and you can appreciate being a girls-only club, having the boys split off so they could keep MLSN (quite savvy). But booting Midwest leaves 2 other metro Detroit teams in their backyard, not even to mention the Jags (GA). That seems more against the greater health of ECNL.

Go look at TBU and Wisconsin FC and wonder why they aren’t getting kicked out…

WI FC isn’t getting kicked out because CL founded ECNL … it’s also why they blocked everyone else around from getting in

TBU, orlando city, and Jacksonville will be moving to GA soon cause they have MLSnext.

Why can’t clubs have ECNL and MLSN? Or GA and ECNL? Do the leagues really care about getting entire clubs aligned with either ECNL or GA/MLSN?

ECNL is the only league that forces both boys and girls top teams compete in ECNL.

no it doesn't. stop lying. there are plenty of teams that have MLS boys and ECNL girls and/or RL girls. but with the merger, GA is starting to put pressure on those ECNL girls teams to move to GA since they have MLSnext. soft pressure now but it will only grow

I know. But people here make it sound like all clubs will eventually have that alignment. Not sure why it has to be that way as leagues vary across the country

Most of those girl ECNL teams with MLSN boys were there from the beginning of ECNL and are grandfathered in. NVA was trying to maintain ECNL girls when the boys went MLSN but the league said no.

they will. its coming. slow push now but will get more intense as GA and MLSNXT become better aligned. GA will then start pushing the current lower level teams in GA down to Aspire
