As long as you get a letter stating that your kid is in the pool that is enough and need to start preparing the paper work. The paper work itself takes a lot of time.

Please note that Parents or Guardians of students who are in the 2nd grade pool will be notified by the school and will require no referral form. Although we expected to send these letters this week, the test scores have been delayed. Therefore, these letters will be going home early next week.

Why is it so time consuming? Isn't just a one page referral form (if not in pool) and an optional parent questionnaire?
