Isn’t that cancel culture, Kevin McCarthy?

Qevin McQarthy has outed himself as a full-on Insurrectionist Sympathizer. Un-American. Disgusting.

A small group just like the BLMers. Most were peaceful protestors. Not having police with such a large crowd was the bigger issue.

Then it’s lucky that they’re going to investigate whether or not a stand down order was given, by whom and why, isn’t it?

And lol. Must we do this again? Almost all the violence at the BLM protests were caused by right wing provocateurs, very likely the same type of people who were committing the domestic terrorism on 1/6. There was no “small group” in the BLM protestors who were committing violence. These two things are not alike.

Mo Brooks, who collaborated with Ali Akbar in planning the Jan 6 insurrection, claims he was asked by White House officials to speak at the event.

Ya, no connections there.

Big Lie is with us, strong as ever. Trump plans to campaign against Republicans who don’t embrace the Big Lie, GOP candidates across the country have made it a centerpiece of their early campaigns. Of the nearly 700 Republicans who have filed initial paperwork to run for either the House or Senate, at least a 1/3 have made the Big Lie a centerpiece of their campaigns. Roughly 500 of the 600 state lawmakers who publicly questioned President Biden’s victory face reelection this year or next. (At least 16 of them were at the January 6 rally.) Could the next attempt to steal an election end differently if Congress and legislatures are packed with confirmed election-deniers?

Expect more normal tourist visits.

Commission should subpoena Ali, Brooks and White House officials

Except this time I hope Capitol Police / Secret Service etc will get immediate, and powerful backup.

I think so, although the choice of Thompson is weird because he’s suing Trump.

All good picks.

Jamie Raskin is an amazing human.
