US Capitol Breached by Trump's lunatics

The cons on this board have entirely moved on from the domestic terrorist attack on 1/6, unless it’s to whine that we shouldn’t hold the criminals responsible for their crimes that day (or to martyr the woman who was climbing through the window and got killed). They spend days and days bumping stupid threads about Dr. Seuss, the alleged border crisis that bothers no one (and would be solved with actually fining out of existence the businesses who rely on undocumented workers), trans people in bathrooms and of course, Portland, Oregon. Here we had a sitting President*** and political party who appear to have helped plan a violent insurrection against the United States and… the 40% of the country that still calls themselves Republican doesn’t care?

Like seriously what’s wrong with you people? I’m speaking again to just the cons who don’t understand what the coup means, where it can lead. Just because it wasn’t successful doesn’t mean it wasn’t a big deal. I shudder to think what low you’ll find next, because I thought a few more of you would be snapped out of your stupid coma, would understand that the GOP isn’t out there for democracy or America or any of the other things that you’ve pretended matter. But no. You’re still spinning your wheels about CRT.

We are now finding out how lucky we are that this man was blocked from SC

Yes, we are lucky that he was blocked form the SC, so that he was available to be the USAG, so that we actually have someone in the office who is willing and able to hold those responsible for the treasonous actions on January 6 accountable to the full extent of the law.

And a big day rounding people up, plus another Oathkeeper pleads and cooperates:

"The Justice Department netted one of the largest number of Capitol riot arrests in a single day Wednesday, revealing charges against alleged supporters of extremist right-wing groups including the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and Boogaloo Bois”

A small group just like the BLMers. Most were peaceful protestors. Not having police with such a large crowd was the bigger issue.

Most of the rally was peaceful protesters, but not most of the group that went to the Capitol. There have been ~550 arrests.

There were at least three paramilitary organizations who staged a coordinated siege on the US Capitol. They were given cover by unknowing pawns (large crowd,) some of whom got swept up in things, but it is plainly obvious what happened here.
