Uh, a lot of them? You're conflating masculinity, testosterone, sex drive, fertility and wanting to impregnate women all in one ignorant mess. I know rugged straight men who've slept with hundreds of women and have never had kids. They're fanatical about birth control or have had vesectomies. They want sex, not children. What I can tell you for sure is that the vast majority of 30-something men who want to get laid and can are terrified of getting women pregnant. They want to leave kids totally off the table until they're in their mid-forties. In fact, the only straight men who want kids at 30 are the pasty looking betas who know they're lucky to even be dating. |
| His wife is interesting - she’s an artist. She dated Ricky van been of college humor before Mulaney. He then married and divorce Alison Williams, who I think the wife looks like, and married a non famous person. |
That went right over your head. |
| Omg who are you people upset by any of this?! Like who knows what went on in his marriage? Who know what’s going on? And frankly who cares? Do any of you know any of these people personally? I think he’s funny. I am not surprised he is an addict as comedians are pretty f*cked up people. His ex and Munn have to be crazy to get involved or stay involved with an addict. Addicts love one thing (hint it isn’t a person!). |
I agree. I’d guess a separation started in October and there was very little communication til she got served and commented on it in May. And J and O definitely got together pretty early on relative to his comment about “spring” based on her preg pics. |
He was completely sober for a long, long time until several months ago. His wife probably had never been with him when he wasn’t sober. |
Keep in mind, she didn’t leave him. He left her. He got sober and never lived with her again. He chose to go to sober living when he left rehab and then move across country. She should have spun things differently than telling people that he decided to end the marriage. |
That sounds like him deciding to end the marriage. |
Yep..he pretty much decided he was starting a new chapter of his life that did not include his wife. |
And he was cheating before he went to rehab. Then he discarded his wife like an old dish rag. He is more than just an addict, he's narcissist too. Narcissism and addiction go hand in hand. His ex is MUCH better off to be rid of him. |
Back in 2019, when he was still with Tendler, he told Entertainment Weekly that kids are great, “but I love what I do. And I love my wife and spending so much time with her and we have a really fortunate life. I get to travel, do stand-up, and our relationship is so wonderful. It’s just something I wouldn’t want to change.” My guess is that life with his wife changed anyway and it became a life he didn’t want. |
| I think this baby will be born by Christmas. |

What genuinely amazes me is that this thread is 23 pages long.
The USA has the highest divorce rate in the world, more children born outside of marriage, more children born of different (i.e non marital) fathers. Yet the public, you guys are this moralizing crowd as if your church hat's haven't got a speck of dust on them. I don't remember who said it but "Puritans in public, perverts in private" really fits the bill |
You know those couples on social media who always talk about how much they love each other then have a messy divorce? That’s what this is on public display |
Uh, these are people in the entertainment industry. John Mulaney has made a career of sharing the details of his marriage and private life. Even this is something he went on a talk show to talk about. He’s trying to salvage that “wife guy” image by lying his dweeby little butt off. It’s a spectacle! |
