Master thread for keeping track of who has COVID and who has tested negative in POTUS’s circle

I guess Amy Covid Barrett would forego any testing on her kids — and they’ll probably be fine. But I count 4 Scalias in the COVID zone. What are the testing and reporting requirements? For Cabinent members and their family members?

Her foregoing testing on her kids is what got the White House into this mess. She's supposed to be testifying live at hearings starting next week. The Senate Judiciary needs to know that no one in her household has Covid-19 especially as I guarantee she is not isolating away from 7 kids from now until the end of the confirmation.

As for the Scalias - as Labor Secretary its a matter of national security. It'll be public if he's positive or quarantining for a family positive. But I only saw the Secretary, his wife, and his mother - who's the fourth Scalia?

Do we know this for sure or even to be able to reasonably deduce it? Like, do we know when she and her husband had it and if any of the kids had it? Is it possible it was still going through her family when they attended this?

We will never know because you know they're not trying to find out how it spread or who has it #covidgate

Interesting that so many of those who tested positive are sitting on the end of the rows. It's almost like they knew beforehand.

- We know Amy was Covid-19 positive sometime this summer.
- We know that the virus is airborne and spreads rapidly through households.
- We know she has 7 kids and 1 husband and it is statistically impossible that at least one of those kids, if not multiples, didn't also get Covid-19.
- We know that Covid does not affect children in the same manner as the adult and they are likely to present asymptomatic.
- We know, through scientific study, that Covid lingers in children and that they have a higher viral carrier load in their nostrils than adults.
- We know that the Supreme Court nominee has not stated her 9-person household is Covid negative even though its been 8 days since the White House Rose Garden massacre and 4 days since the President of the United States released positive results.
- We know that all the children attended the event maskless.
- We know that neither Congress nor the Senate Judiciary committee has answered questions on whether or not ACB is currently in quarantine.
- We know that a President, White House Press Secretary, two Senators, one First Lady, two Pastors, and one former Governor have all tested positive after attending the even where the children were present.
- We have pictures of the children mingling directly with 50% of the positives already.

I could understand if 1-2 people emerged from this event positive, but we're at 20+. There had to be multiple vectors of positives at that event and since senior federal officials are regularly tested, the most logical conclusion is that 3 or more of the 7 children, if not all of them, are asymptomatic carriers.

But we've been repeatedly told by people who certainly must know what they are talking about that kids can and must go back to school because they don't get sick and they don't spread the virus. Are you telling me kids are both at risk and vectors, and all these Republican politicians are lying?

The Secretary’s brother was also there. He’s a priest.

Stop. It wasn’t the kids. Putting politics and your dislike for these people aside, this doesn’t make sense logically. There’s no way one kid came into contact with every one of these people that tested positive. It’s far more likely that there was a positive superspreader that came into close contact with all of the now positives. There’s no way that a person who was infected at the event then spread it to another person during the event.

It wasn’t one kid.

The NYTimes posted more pictures of the internal meetings and every single one of them has the maskless kids right up with people who tested positive!!!!

Of course they had no intention of contact tracing the Rose Garden event. It would be political suicide to draw the Ben diagram that would start with the presiding the middle and tens of positive cases - and possibly deaths - directly connected to that even. It’s why they cut the cdc out of the process and kept it in house.

So this would be, like, the first instance of kids causing a Covid outbreak wouldn’t it? Because schools have been open in person across the country for 1-2 months now and if there was some massive outbreak traced back to students, lord knows we would have never heard the end of it from the media and the teachers unions by now. No, FAR more likely is that there were one or more infected and pre-symptomatic or lightly symptomatic individuals amongst the crowd there, plus from Trump’s other interactions like the debate prep and the fundraiser in New Jersey. They never wear masks and they just all go about their business.
