+1, and/or I present my tiny conspiracy theory: that Melania isn’t actually positive, but they announced she was because it looked bad for Hope Hicks and Trump to be positive but not Melania.

That's a theory, but in the photos of ABC's Rose Garden indoor reception, Melania was maskless right next to covid-positive folk. It's likely she is positive.

Either way I guarantee Melania is spending this time out of the spotlight to line up her lawyers - A) If he loses, I expect her to file for divorce the next day, B) If he wins, I expect her to file for an amended post-nup agreement to include her 'hurt and grievances' over being infected with Covid and/or bonus structures for another 4 years of pretending.

Melania knew she was infected in Cleveland. She was the only member of the trump klan to keep their mask on during the debate.

We don't know everyone who's really sick. There's a WH security employee who is.

Trump was. We gave him the best healthcare on the planet.

Christie was. He's a rich asshole who 'checked himself into the hospital'. That's not something normal people get to do.

In addition, a lot of the economic damage has little to do with government policy. Restaurants are open - many people don't want to go. Planes are flying - many people don't want to fly.
