WTF are they hiding?

Anyone listening to the press conference? They will not answer how the va resident in NC got the coronavirus and how she spread it to the family contacts here at Tysons.

They are saying she got it in Boston. That she flew from NC to Boston and back to NC? So how did the two people in Tysons get it from her? They would not answer whether or not she stopped in VA or not. They would not answer how she contracted it in the first place.

The LoCo and Alexandria cases got it from the Georgetown church. What is that, if not community spread? I think they mean that those people haven't spread it beyond themselves. But it's too early to know.

There are 2 cases in Tysons??

One of them WORKS in the building Tysons. Sounds like the younger one, who did have community contacts and they are supposed to be tracing them based on the names they were given. No info on where they live or what the actual relationship is.

I'm just annoyed that they aren't giving more information: like where the people went for five days before getting sick.

The lack of transparency is just going to get more people sick. In Taiwan, Singapore, HK: they detail exactly where these people were and have news reports on the regular.

Moreover, I've been watching the coronavirus stuff for almost two months. The fact that now people are panicking makes me realize how stupid this country is. Woman at Target wanted antibacterial bar soap for the virus. IT IS A VIRUS! It doesn't get killed by antibacterial agents!

Then I overheard people screaming about whether or not to close schools in a target. "Trump says it will disappear!" "After we're all dead, sure!"

I agree. It gets under my skin they won't release where these people went (Iran, South Korea, Italy, Egypt, etc)? I am so impressed that the Episcopalian church in Georgetown gave a clear description of dates and place where the rector went. From that my church in Alexandria was able to connect dots between their parish and our parish and sent us an email 3 days ago about people from our parish who had come into contact with the rector and organist, on what days, where, who they were, what their symptoms were, etc.

I appreciated the couple in Virginia Beach who couldn't get a test so they went to the press and stated they went on this particular nile cruise and flew back on this date and went to a particular hospital on that date and still couldn't get a test and wanted help and people to know. Guess what, they were right and positive.

Information matters.

I'm pretty sure community spread means that you can't trace a person's infection back to another known case. So by that definition, the LoCo and Alexandria cases were not community spread.
