I’m a Gillibrand and Harris and Duckworth fan too.

I cannot see Gillibrand being remotely successful with the general electorate. Harris, probably not. Duckworth is a possibility. Klobuchar as well.

I love a Gillibrand but you may be right. She’s been pretty skillful so far in NY and has the advantage of having said Bill Clinton should have resigned. That may come in handy.

Not really.

Oh, I think it will. This was an Achilles heel for Hillary.

Except that for years she took the Clintons help--both Clintons. Two faced and disloyal. She knew about the accusations when she took the help.

Doesn’t matter. Pisses off Clintonites but no one else. I love Hillary and worked my heart out for her but this was a vulnerability for her.

I don’t think Gillibrand will be as effective of a candidate as Klobuchar or Duckworth. I think Kamala is electrifying but she probably couldn’t win in 2020. She is, however, doing a lot to build a bench of young black women candidates.

Mike Moore - who predicted trump would beat hrc - correctly states that Harris and booker would lose badly to trump.

He was saying that if elected Senator of Texas he would stay a full term and not run for President.

What on earth do you like about Gillibrand? I live in NY and she’s basically invisible here and when she does pop up she’s so milquetoast I can’t fathom how she’d get anybody excited. The only interesting thing that I can recall her doing was cutting ties to the Clintons, which was smart but hardly a boon to her constituents.

Michael Bloomberg and Amy Klobuchar.

Bloomberg - Money + Successful businessman (unlike multiple times bankrupt Trump) + Executive experience (private sector and three times NYC Mayor) + Moderate (close to being centrist) + Not beholden to interest groups. He will do good for the country that has given him so much. Democrats, Independents and Moderate Republicans will vote for him.

Klobuchar - From Mid-West, Prosecutor, Excellent record and experience as a Senator, Moderate Progressive (to the left of Bloomberg), Female (a VP experience will make her an unassailable candidate for the POTUS and finally shatter the glass ceiling to advance the USA into the 21st century). Her performance on the SJC during Kavanaugh hearings was simply a class act. In spite of the last minute document dump by the Republicans, Senator Klobuchar was the only Democrat who went through the documents and she kept her cool in questioning Kavanaugh in the face of Kavanaugh's shameful, lunatic, and insulting outbursts (parodied so well by Matt Damon on SNL).

Trump will be toast in 2020.

I love Biden but pretty sure he'd lose to Drumpf. I suspect lie Bloomberg would have a better chance.

Booker seems like a phony. I remember the prescription drug bill that he voted against after taking $300k from big pharma.

Bloomberg could get some buzz by spending his billions on his campaign. But his personality is like a piece of toast. He’s smart and competent but won’t play well on TV.

I think Bloomberg is one of a few people who have a chance to beat Trump. Never considered a team, but wow Klobuchar would be excellent. I agree that’s the best combo I’ve heard.

-Hillary fan who understands, more than ever, that we are so far from electing a woman president

He is three-term Mayor of NYC where the term-limit is two. He reduced crime rate. He will sweep North-East and West-Coast. Klobuchar will sweep Mid-West and Plains. In Televised Presidential Debates, the contrast between his competence and Trump's hollow know-nothing will be like that between the Sun's radiance and a candle light. OTOH, Pence's personality will be like a piece of toast in VP Debates with Klobuchar.
