Uh you realize Jolie and Pitt didn't carry on some long illicit affair right? It was all over the tabloids before this that Aniston and Pitt were having trouble. He meets Jolie and very soon after he divorces Aniston.

In some ways it is karma. Jolie also came between Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thorton. What goes around comes around. I feel bad for the kids, but not for Angelina.

She has also grown up, become a mother and an ambassador.

Agree. Think she just had phenomenal press/PR folks. Everyone seems to have forgotten what a complete nutjob she was, and the things she said and did. (The vials of blood?) I think Brad proably wanted out but did the "gentlemanly" thing and let her be the one to file the paperwork. She just seems like a complete nut case who found some stability in her savior work at the UN and adopting orphans from hellish places (notice she doesn't adopt high needs kids in the US-I don't think that makes her feel valiant enough). Between her weird ass marriage to billy bob, the viles of blood, the public make outs, the kissing her brother on the lips, her dabbling into lesbianism, heorin, eating disorders, fucked up relationship wit her dad etc...she must be high maintenance as fuck. Brad probably initially found her to be "complicated" and thought that was sexy and interesting compared to boring Jen Aniston. Ten years of that shit and the kids are the only things keeping them together. I seriously doubt he is sad. and will have a new younger woman in 4 months.

No, just people who don't have any experience with people in recovery. As a recovering alcoholic, I care a LOT about people using around me. I will put up with it in moderation or for a short time from a family member, but if it went on for a long time or if it was very severe, that person has to go. I know exactly where it leads and I am not willing to put up with it anymore.

Recovery therapists and recovery programs specifically teach you that you have to stay away from people who are currently using. They are bad for your mental health and they will eventually lead you back to using.

Jolie needs to play fair. Those are Brad's kids too. She is not the only parent and she is not the only one calling the shots.

I really, really hate when people use the kids as pawns during a divorce. Just end that danged marriage. Make an effort to be decent to each other. Split assets fairly. Make sure that the kids are provided for. No need for mud flinging.
