Does anyone have factual information as to when the decision for next year will be made? My 6th grader would like to know where she is going to school next year!

School Board vote is scheduled for February.

Anyone have any idea which direction school board headed? We all know how Janie Strauss is going to vote-does it make sense to try and appeal to anyone else on the board or is this just a done deal ready to be rubber stamped?

Also, I never saw any survey or have been asked to give feedback on this decision, though the link above says that such feedback from the community will be solicited. Yeah right!

It appears two meetings were held at Cooper last month. Were any meetings held at Kilmer and Longfellow to find out if parents would prefer relief from overcrowding sooner rather than later? Or is this yet another instance where the views of Langley AAP parents take precedence over those of everyone else? From what I've seen, this won't start to be phased in now until the fall of 2017, which will just prolong the transition.

Good question. They should have had the meetings at Kilmer and Longfellow.

I attended the meeting at Cooper tonight and was extremely impressed.
