So it was very likely he was HIV+ when he was still married to Brooke Mueller. They filed for divorce in Nov. 2010.

I read last night that Denise and both her daughters have tested negative several times and that Denise has known his DX for a while.

We didn't watch the same interview. I didn't get that he was proud. I got that he was humbled and relieved to release his truth. However, I don't think he's being honest when he said he has worn a condom every single time since. I know the wackos will come out of the woodwork now, even ones that he didn't expose.

I think a lot of people are reading that Platoon II piece from the Daily Squib and thinking it is serious and that Sheen is bragging about his disease and sleeping unprotected with women. The Daily Squib seems to be a half news half humor site. There's an article there now about a Hinder app for use with Tinder about helping you sleep with people who have the same diseases as you, but not diseases you don't have. There's another about a man wanting to be a woman sleeping with a woman who wants to be a man, or something similar. The articles, including the one about Sheen, is supposed to be funny.

He's painting himself as a victim. But the bottom line is that his wild lifestyle led to him contracting this disease. After he contracted the disease he continued on partying and having indiscriminate sex. He claims that he told all of these people about his HIV status before he slept with them. I'm just wondering if a drunk/drugged up/horny/depressed Charlie Sheen was truly so careful to divulge that sort of information to his partners in a direct way. He doesn't even seem to have a good grasp that it certainly was not "impossible" for him to transmit the virus to other people.

Yes, those folks that slept with Sheen were responsible for protecting their own bodies. But still...I don't see a lot of accountability on his part. He feels badly for himself, that is clear.
