Zoe's mom? Or Addison's?

Not even by a little bit is this the most childish thread.

Mine are:
Brittany, Jaden (boy or girl)

Absolutely same! I hate Jayden, Aiden, and Hayden (yuck!!!!!!!). Trying so hard to sound preppy/attractive, but probably unattractive and mildly white trash.

Anonymous wrote:I've always disliked the name Molly. My cousin is a Molly and while she is a great girl, I can't stand her name. When she was born, for the longest time my mother and I just called her "the baby" because we just couldn't stand even saying it.

It is irrational and I can't explain my intense dislike of this name. I just really can't stand it.

Molly was a dog name in the 90's and now is becoming a popular choice for humans again. I think it's cute but no one with this name is going to be a supreme court justice.

I had a great-great grandmother from Ireland named Molly.

It's my name

It's pretty bad and mean-spirited.

Anonymous wrote:I love the name Sherry but it may be because I have a beloved family member with that name. But it does kind of roll off the tongue sweetly and works for a girl and a woman. I guess it's all subjective but I don't understand why someone wouldn't like this name (unless it has some negative association).

It's trashy and also bothers everyone who hates the "i" ending names, which is a good number of people.
The name Sherry is not trashy. It's actually a famous song not to mention a fortified wine. Now the name Anonymous, that's trashy.

If you think this is bad you must be new to DCUM. This is mild.

I hate the name Finn. Why name your kid part of a fish?!
Or after a nationality?
Usually, Finn is a nickname. There are many names it is short for.
It's also the name of the main character in Adventure Time, which my kids adore. His female counterpart is Fionna -- yes an alternative spelling.

would Candide sound better for a boy?
