Most U11/12 teams shoot for 12-14.

at least they are open about this. most clubs are really secretive while they are filling the rosters.

Whoa…did not expect to see this so soon. U12G White has 15 already.

He lasted more than a year at Arlington? Color me shocked- what happened with TSJ directorship

refering to the other JO.....

Coaches were posted on IG. JO has U12 boys Pre Academy 1.

Those parents should know why he was removed a year before....

I don't think its the club being transparent and more the new playmetrics app that lets you see the roster when you sign up. LOL

Other than the 2011 girls, the teams have generally done worse than even their local peers (VDA/FVU). The results have been consistent enough to cause a reasonable person to ask whether the ID/team formation/recruitment mechanism is working. Do we just give EG a pass for another decade? Sometimes a baseball team will change managers not because the current manager is a bad person but because the organization is adrift and needs sharpening, new energy. GP is a great guy and the mayor of kids soccer but is he setting the right tone?

I don’t know the complete answer to your question but if you look at other clubs with better performance outcomes you can imagine they have some goal-setting and accountability. For now I would settle for any modicum of self-reflection and accountability. Imagine if you get a side order of transparency along with it, where it feels like the club is working with the parents and players in the daylight and not always against them in secret.

Lets not forget that even with the 2011s a decent amount of girls came over from McLean years back and are some of the best players on the team or this age group wouldn't be nearly as good either

Say it louder for the Arlington parents in the back.

Us parents not at Arlington really appreciate the Arlington RL parents. They stay and complain about not moving up while we join the ECNL team. We appreciate your stubbornness and support your fight to change how the system works.

Why did you not expect to see this so soon? I'm new to this, just trying to understand how this is all working. It seemed reasonable to me to think they'd be full!

I didn’t expect to see the roster with all the names so soon, not that they were full.

Although am a bit surprised at taking on 15. White is supposed to still play 9-9. Last year, we had 14 playing 9-9 and we were never short.

U11B red up to 14

White is the third or fourth team? They should not have 15 girls for 9v9. Absurd.

And now the 11’s are losing some of their best players as are the 12’s. Arlington will not have any strong, maybe not even good, teams remaining.

Agree...15 for 9v9 is too many kids. 6 kids on the bench for every match.

Vda is crowing about union but dont look around Arlington, your teams are being hollowed one call up at a time. Deposits be damned.

Only 2 leaving and debatable who the best players are.
