Are we abandoning Israel?

I think Israelis are aware things have turned against them in the US, both among conservatives and liberals.

I mean, they killed 85,000 mostly innocent people in Gaza. They have sent more than 700,000 ultra orthodox religious fanatics into the West Bank to colonize land that's not theirs and terrorize local people. They have invaded Lebanon and killed thousands and caused more than a million refugees to flee. And they have instigated the dumbest war in modern history by convincing the US it would be an awesome idea to start a major with Iran.

There are zero fans of Israel anywhere. It's not 1945.

Even Mike Huckabee is appalled. Israelis didn't even allow Christians to worship at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Easter.

Israelis suck

And it's a tiny country of no strategic relevance.

WTF is Israel so important for American interests?

Useless country causing trouble everywhere.

But Israelis will definitely take advantage of the Trump presidency since everything and the billions we send to Israel are done after the next election.

What does Trump even get from Israel? Does he have hotels or deals there -- if so we never hear about them. Is it just that Netanyahu is holding Epstein over him? At this point nothing touches Trump, so why would it even matter to him???

Wealthy entities with close ties to Israel invest heavily into American political campaigns. Our politicians reciprocate. There are many other examples of wealthy people using their wealth to purchase political influence. This problem started a few years before Trump entered the political arena and it will continue after Trump is gone as long as campaign finance laws remain as they are now.

It really frustrates me when people try to sugarcoat the actions of the nazi israeli government by saying that Israeli people shouldn't be equated with the government while completely ignoring that the sheer majority of israelis support whatever the hell their government is doing

The vast majority of American voters continue to support politicians who support our out of balance foreign policy as it relates to Israel so we need to clean up our own backyard before we can point fingers elsewhere. Otherwise, I agree with you.

Apocalypse and the Rapture for Southern Baptists and Evangelicals. Maybe other Christian sects as well. I was indoctrinated at a very young age in those two and can only opine about them. Oh and Baptist and Evangelicals can be interchangeable

With Trump, it's always money and loyalty. Trump has old school mafia sensibilities. And people like Netanyahu and Putin know this world. Lots of commonalities.

The corruption of Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu is ridiculous. Russia is not remotely free, but people actually chose Trump and Netanyahu. Americans and Israelis love their oligarch morons.

The Catholics, Muslims, and Jews indoctrinate as well. The Buddhists, not so much.
