You realize there’s a flip side to this too, right? There are many people like me who are watching the current moment with awe and eternal gratitude and view Elon as a national hero.

I had never even considered buying an EV in the past, but I can say with 100% certainty that my next car purchase will be a Tesla.

Yes, but I suspect the number of Nazis wanting to buy Teslas is smaller than the number of moderates who are turned off by his Hitler salutes and gutting of international health programs. Enjoy your car, and your moral bankruptcy, you PoS.

Moderates ALREADY HAVE THESE CARS! Now you are terrorizing them. Guess what? They won't be voting Dem in the next election. And if you terrorize ppl more they will start driving gas guzzlers again. You "win", some climate change.

No one is terrorizing anyone on this thread, not are we talking about people who bought the car in the past. We are discussing future sales and the stock price. He has poisoned the brand and now only the worst people in the world would buy one.

And again, to be clear, sales had already started dropping in 2024, well before Leon started destroying the federal government with his incel gang. For a stock price completely built on assuming future growth, that is very, very bad.

Oh so you now know how people will vote because they bought a car from a con man?

Lots of serious hits to Tesla.

BYD release self drive all the way down to their mid level brands($13,500 cars). Tesla was planning to charge a subscription service for this($9k a month).

BYD announced 5 minutes charging for 250 miles.

Waymo has over a million self driving hours and product on the street. Tesla is still in the planning stage.

Every big promise is gone with Tesla. Now all they have outdate cars.

Does anyone else notice that there are now more bots defending tesla than trump?

I recommend looking at tge FT expose of tesla accounting practices. It is not a smoking gun, but it suggests that there may be funny business going on. There is a huge discrepancy between the declared level of investment and the increase in capital stock. There is a also the question of why a company that purports to sit on so much cash - and generates positive cash flow - has been issuing so much expensive debt.

I would not be at all surprised to learn that a company that has been run by a con man has been playing fast and loose with the accounting. I suspect that this will all come out in the coming weeks…

But if I was a shareholder I would be sweating right now…

How do you know when people bought their cars? A lot of them didn't change their style in 2-3 years. You know how completely stupid this sounds, right? Your activist idiots burn down cars people already own and bring to the dealerships for service.

Tesla’s (TSLA) accounting practices are raising red flags as a new report from the Financial Times shows that $1.4 billion is missing.
Many Tesla shorts and detractors have questioned Tesla’s accounting for years, but they have never gained much traction – until now.

Unbelievable--a federal official shilling for Elon Musk's trainwreck of a company.

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/03/19/us/trump-news

The commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick, followed President Trump by supporting Elon Musk, urging people to buy shares in Tesla, Musk’s car company. “It’s unbelievable that this guy’s stock is this cheap. It’ll never be this cheap again,” Lutnick said Wednesday on Fox News.

Look into how Lutnick pocketed all the 9/11 money. Nothing that scumbag does would surprise me.

The only question of how to make more money on all this is whether to buy inverse ETFs TSLQ or TSLS. TSLQ has theta decay if held for too long, thus reducing gains, because it’s a leveraged ETF, but it’s so pretty to see a 3x drop in value vs a slow decline as seen with TSLS. It’s free money. I mean unless Tesla somehow gets a new CEO or is propped up in some way, this stock is going to sub $100. It’s inevitable.
