USAID is nothing more than a big money laundering scheme. No wonder Democrats are throwing a fit. |
Any actual…rebuttal? |
Pharma and ag will have a rebuttal. It’ll be in private though. |
Samantha is a warmonger. |
I think they went for USAID first because they probably know:
1. Most Americans don't care about the things it does 2. They knew they'd find some shady things (it is USAID, let's be real) Then they have set up a process for eliminating anagency and Americans will like this process, even though it is illegal. Then they can do it with Ed and others. |
She's not the only one. Did you hear what Rubio said to Panama? |
Per what you said, how are you feeling the performance of OIG on those grants exposed by Musk? |
DP... Elon and the Trump White House are completely full of crap. They have provided ZERO evidence that the funds are actually for the things he claims they are. |
I could ask the IGs but they've all been illegally fired. Hmm. |
China should not be in control there. |
We have investments in Panama and could continue to invest there. Like a normal United States. Or we could issue fake threats to our allies and embarrass ourselves when they take us seriously (Canada) instead of humor us (Mexico). |
Would also say, it is some serious cherry picking. Funds for disaster relief, farming, healthcare? Those would be the big bucks. If he is truly for transparency, do not cherry pick. |
DP. It's not just the USAID OIG. There's a ton of oversight over USAID spending. OIG is just one of many watchdogs: Office of Inspector General (OIG): The USAID OIG provides independent oversight of USAID’s personnel, programs, and activities. They conduct audits, investigations, and evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements1. Congressional Oversight: Various congressional committees, such as the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, oversee USAID’s activities and spending through hearings, reports, and budget reviews. Government Accountability Office (GAO): The GAO conducts audits and investigations of USAID programs and activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Internal Controls: USAID has internal control mechanisms, including financial management systems and procurement processes, to monitor and control spending. External Audits: USAID-funded programs often undergo external audits by independent auditors to verify financial statements and compliance with regulations. Transparency Initiatives: USAID publishes reports, data, and information on its website to promote transparency and allow public scrutiny of its activities and spending. Collaboration with Other Agencies: USAID collaborates with other U.S. government agencies, such as the Department of State and the Department of Defense, to ensure coordinated oversight and accountability. What Elon is doing is nothing but theatrics. And the real reason people want USAID gone has nothing to do with "DEI drag shows for amputee dwarves with epilepsy in Kazakhstan" or whatever ridiculous fabricated nonsense they are trying to claim, it's to withdraw the US from global leadership and let China take over. This is a straight-up betrayal of America, and it is putting America last in the world. |
