Gun Laws of America - 6th Edition Paperback – September 1, 2009 https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Laws-America-Alan-Korwin-dp-1889632244/dp/1889632244/ref=dp_ob_title_bk It's 350 pages. But we don't have any gun laws today, right? |
We don’t have mass shootings or crimes like today. Democrat policies, poor parenting, and social media are to blame. |
Ok gun wizard, what's your solition to preventing mass shootings, at schools and elsewhere? So far, whatever you patriots are doing isn't preventing kids from being shot up. |
Armed guards. The school shooting was stopped thanks to two armed resource officers. Jewish kids were targeted at schools and the rates have gone down thanks to implementing armed guards. Arm these area’s. start locking up criminals. |
Do you think those parents who had AR15 assault rifles that the school shooters used are Dems? |
I'm all for SROs in school, but they are not "armed guards". They are trained police officers. |
We don't need laws about storing guns so minors don't have access to them?? |
Are you so ignorant that you don't think laws evolve to fit the challenges of society? |
Complete word salad deflection from the gun lobby. Meanwhile 85% of the population wants gun laws that make them safer and the NRA and most of the GOP block them every step of the way. |
+1 Good practical actions that could take place if there were political will. |
We need armed guards. We arm and take extra safety measures for many things. Why not our kids? |
I'm so sick of hearing this. By this logic, why bother with laws against anything? Criminals will just break them. The threshold for laws isn't "must prevent 100% of crimes." |
Excellent post (I won't quote your whole post in the interest of space). There is a middle ground of reasonableness to be found. It doesn't need to be the Wild West. |
+1 Why bother with laws about B&E since that doesn't seem to stop burglars; why bother with DUI laws since there are still hundreds if not thousands of DUI related deaths per year? Why have any laws? Let's just be the wild wild west again where people settle matters with guns. |
The problem is lax policies and laws. Switzerland, Norway, and Finland all have high gun populations but very little crime. Why is that? |
