It was great to see all of the coaches focused on player development and actual teaching and coaching....a drastic positive difference from the past. Great team building events as well. Great energy and positive vibes from coaches to kids to parents. And let me save the trolls some time... no I'm not adam

Actual teaching and coaching didn’t happen with BP and CZ?

I've never even met either of them in years.... so. No.

Why does it matter?

Play TSJ and beat them.
Score board that thing to death.
Text the parents.
Post it to FB and Insta.
Put the scores in chalk in their driveways.

Or don’t play them and still talk about them.
It matters so little either way.

All the back and forth seems like you are rooting against the players.

Finally some sense.

It really goes to show how toxic these people are.

Why wouldn’t we root for all kids having fun and working toward their best? Why wouldn’t we want a number of clubs to exist in order to support all those kids?

Choose the club that’s right for your kid. Or better yet, let them choose. Then focus on supporting your club instead of wasting endless hours tearing down another. And don’t root against children. It’s sad and pathetic. And at the end of the day, you’ll have a higher power to answer to for that one.

Most people aren't rooting against the kids. Most people here are rooting against the adults at TSJFC selling a changing stream of lies to parents and their kids and then taking advantage to make money for themselves while not living up to the promises they've made. It's like watching your friends buy into Scentsy and asking you to host a candle party and it makes you sad, but you don't want to tell them to their face they bought into a load of junk because every now and then it works out for someone and you don't want to be the jerk that crushes their dream, so you host it and then post anonymously how terrible the pyramid scheme is hoping they read it and figure it out on their own so they don't hate you.

This is standard operating procedure in all the clubs. It’s just that some folks can mask the smell better than others.

There are some organizational improvements here and there that could be made next year but I’m nitpicking. I hope they ask for feedback for continued iteration because it can only get better and better from here.

Most importantly, my teen daughter had a GREAT time and came home from this weekend energized and ready to go. And she’s not easily impressed. You know the age. lol. I’d say that is a serious win.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it's nice to read positive posts when clubs make an effort.

The stream is a lot more expensive for any team associated with the St James

And the BS is significantly deeper at the STJ too.

Rather funny how people want to attack STJ for a crappy management shift because a neighboring club wanted to both buy out a director and also a place in the league where they don’t belong. Where will people hide when STJ beats VRSC?

We won't have to wait much longer to find out! The GA schedule shows FCV vs Revolution on 9/7!

It sounds like the start of a fun rivalry although it might not mean much for a while based on fcv scrimmage results against Union this past weekend.

How did they do against FVU?

New parent and I’ve just learned about this
message board. Given how bizarre and unkind some of these posts are here I don’t think I’ll be back, but I’ll share my experience before I go.

We are new to TSJFC and couldn’t be happier. I only wish we changed clubs sooner.

* The club held a wonderful retreat this weekend for the players. Above and beyond fantastic!
* We have fields and the fall schedule.
* We have an incredible coach.
* Daughter is so happy and motivated here.
* We’ve had several days per week practices all summer long and it shows in my daughter’s development already.
* Did I mention the summer practices and retreat didn’t cost me a thing?
* Girls on the team are welcoming and the quality of the team is excellent.

I couldn’t ask for anything more. Happy mom here! I just wish we moved her sooner.

Where will FCV practice this fall? Just curious as I live near Hansen and the sportsplex

Hanson. I love it there. So many trails and no stupid parking lot to deal with. Plus, a lot of fun things to entertain siblings with splash pad, skate park, etc. Also, Revolution trains at Hanson too depending on the age group. Their fields don't accommodate them similar to LS.

How many other clubs in the nation offer cryo or laser recovery therapy to players? Just asking because the fields don’t matter.

Can the cryo and laser therapy score goals for the TSJ teams?

Why so much hate? TSJ is offering a product and some people are liking it. Good for them. It may translate into success on the soccer pitch...or not. Let them be.
