What are countries supposed to do when they are attacked? Pearl Harbor?? Should we have just let Japan take over US? |
When he had opportunity after IRAN destroyed a US drone, Trump opted against bombing Iran. |
I really don't like seeing politicians like Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania trying to drag us even further into a military conflict involving effing Israel. It's a shame these people seem to have more allegiance to Israel than to our American interests. |
I think you should just shut up and take your crocodile tears for Israel to the West Bank settlers. Then you’ll see who the real terrorists are. |
Are you talking about the hospitals and schools in Gaza which have already been shown to have HAMAS terrorists and weapons. Have you read the articles and seen the interviews with captured terrorists. This is fact, not hypothesis. |
This. This is a fight against terrorism. We don't want a world where radical Islam rules. Moderate Muslims understand this all too well. |
Yeah, those premature babies were obviously terrorists. It’s a good thing they’re dead now. /s |
Each side says the other side caused it, Violence really is not the answer, How is one young man killing another the way to reconcile differences? |
"An Israeli counter attack to a nuclear attack on Israel would only take out a small portion of the Muslim world." Rafsanjani |
No one says US bombed Pearl Harbor. There is no dispute. WTF. |
It was giving Iran space to grow its nuclear program- they get to develop their centrifuges with other chemicals, lowering the time needed to enrich uranium. And Iran even cheated on that. Under this deal, even with no cheating by Iran, Iran would be free to enrich uranium six years from now. Those moderates better take over by then. |
You realize that’s an antisemitic trope, right? |
1000% |
Obviously nobody is saying the babies are terrorists, but it is fact that terrorists were using hospitals. This has actually been known for years, though there has been plenty of recent news. Hamas chooses to use innocent children as human shields. I am outraged to see any innocent child die too and I put blame where it belongs on HAMAS a terrorist organization that gets considerable support from Iran and Qatar. |
You do realize Israel is being run by a rightwing party that in order to reach a majority of votes in the Knesset has to ally itself with ultra right wing extremist factions? I support Israel when they are led by central or leftist coalition like Yizthak Rabin who won the Nobel Peace prize and was assassinated in 1995 by a ultra right wing sympathizer who opposed peace. Supporting Israel leadership now is like supporting Trump and the J6 lunatics. And that is probably an understatement. In order to get elected Netanyahu formed a coalition with an ultra right wing extremists and including Itamar Ben-Gvir who Netanyahu appointed as Security Minister. He was so radical as a teen the Israeli Defense Force refused to conscript him. The New Yorker reported a year ago, "While Ben-Gvir’s old high-school classmates served in the Israel Defense Forces, he stayed at the yeshiva, absorbing extremist ideas. The Army had refused to conscript him. “There are only very few that we don’t recruit,” a former senior defense official told me. Why not Ben-Gvir? I asked. The official stared at me and said, “Give someone like that a weapon?” And now he is the Security Minister of Israel. The New Yorker reported over a year ago when Netanyahu was elected "Late last year, as Israel swore in the most right-wing government in its history, a despairing joke circulated online. A picture broken into squares to resemble a captcha—the test designed to tell you from a robot—depicted the members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet. The caption read, “Select the squares in which people who have been indicted appear.” The correct answer involved half of them." The article continues "Ben-Gvir, who is forty-six, has been convicted on at least eight charges, including supporting a terrorist organization and incitement to racism, compiling a criminal record so long that, when he appeared before a judge, “we had to change the ink on the printer,” Dvir Kariv, a former official in the Shin Bet intelligence agency, told me. As recently as last October, Netanyahu refused to share a stage with him, or even to be seen with him in photographs. But a series of disappointing elections persuaded Netanyahu to change his mind." So because I am liberal I do NOT support the current rulers of Israel because I am anti right wing and anti-intolerance. This is also why I don't understand why so many liberals support Hamas. Both Palestine and Israel are being run by ultra intolerant parties so I don't think the US should be supporting either group right now. |
