It's not up to Iran to say when this is over. It attacked Israel directly.
No, it responded to Israel attacking its embassy.
There's a real world difference between the two - and you know it. If attacking an embassy was sufficient provocation for attacking a country directly in response, the U.S. would have been in a lot more wars over the years, and other countries too.
It was also attacking two leaders of Hamas who were behind 10/7 and who were conspiring with Iran to undertake attacks against Israel. The US takes preemptive moves against terrorists as would any sovereign nation.
No this is what the Israelis are saying. We all know they have no credibility. If even it was true which it is not attacking an embassy is an act of war.
Iran is a real country and the Israelis have no chance against them. The US would have to deploy 1/2 to 3/4 of our military and remember Israel will not support the US military in any way.
Israel can has an active duty military of 160k vs Iran 560k. With reserve call up maybe Israel could get to 670 but many Israelis will not fight. Iran with reserves is 1300k. Most of the Israelis active duty are little more than an occupation force. You can see how badly they preformed in Gaza(and on Oct7).
