It ended up exposing deep-seated Jew hatred in America and how most everyone was pretty ok with Jewish students being harassed.

Jewish students weren't harassed. It is the Zionist lobby trying to silence any opposition to Israeli genocide and apartheid of Palestinians by centering how wealthy white Ivy League college kids feel. It plays on the inherent racism in the US by trying to make the victims white kids living in affluent suburbs of Boston.

No student population in America should need to hide out in a locked room while students outside chant for intifada. You may find this acceptable, but most Americans don’t. Nice try though.

You and the Zionist movement have literally made up lies about calls for genocide. Intifada is not a genocide, it is a rebellion or uprising but you can twist that into any Arab hate that you like becuase it's socially acceptable.
And sorry, there are 25K murdered in Gaza by Israel. Israeli government has spewed its genocidal intentions all over Twitter without once considering the implications of a call for mass extermination. This has been a 75 year war on Palestinians with millions displaced, thousands murdered, and Israel grabbing even more land.

yet you keep centering rich white kids at Harvard. Give me a f-ing break. You're a racist who believes in Jewish supremacy and you keep deflecting to pretend that these wealthy kids are victims. They are not.

I live in the US, not Israel or Palestine. Let me know where the Jewish students are threatening Arabs to hide out in a locked library on college campuses in the US.

And I believe you may have missed the billboard trucks driving around college campuses doxxing Arab and POC students - publicizing names, address, and contacts for anyone support Palestine. And the McCarthy-like tactics of the Zionist movement to libel students (and professionals) who post support of Palestine. Orgs like Canary Mission have been endangering Arab/Pro-Pal students for months. Where's the anger there? Oh, I keep forgetting that only certain lives matter.

People are free to post whatever they want on billboards. Seeing information that you don’t like isn’t the same thing as threatening a group of students and disrupting individuals as they go about their business.

Jewish students were never threatened. Not once. But you keep pretending that Jewish students merely hearing or seeing others protest or chant in support of Palestine is an existential threat to them. It is not and never was. This is about redirecting the narrative so that the conversation is about the wealthy Ivy League kids and literally anything other than the genocide in Gaza. You know, the one where actual people are being slaughtered.

So in sum, seeing information that you don’t like isn’t the same thing as bombing a group of people and ending their lives as they go about their business.

We’re not in Gaza or Israel sweetie, we are in America. Explain how the Jews barricaded in the library in the US are supposed to stop the Israeli bombings.

No American students at Harvard or community college should be harassed because of their religion, and that is exactly what is happening when a mob of protesters targets students who are Jewish.

Yes, per an article in the Harvard Crimson by a member of the Honor Council that reviews such infractions.

Link is posted up thread.

I posted the link. Here it is again (she very clearly violated Harvard’s guidelines).

https://usingsources.fas.harvard.edu/what-constitutes-plagiarism-0

27 Harvard students were dismissed last year for academic improprieties, including plagiarism.

And here’s an article by someone who votes on academic integrity disciplinary matters at Harvard:

Then its an open and shut case regardless of the anti-semitism claims.

She can't lead Harvard after admitting to so many mistakes that violate their honor code.

A friend of mine was caught cheating on a final exam at Harvard in the early 2000s. He was suspended for a year and graduated one year behind all his friends. Not sure if that was the common punishment vs. expulsion.

His dad was a bigwig at Harvard Medical School and it was implied he pulled some strings.

No Jews were targeted or harassed. These are fabrications and lies meant to demonize Arab , Muslim and POC students. Jewish students feign victimization because they disagree with protests in favor of a free Palestine.

Meanwhile, 3 Palestinian students were shot in Vermont, a Palestinian child stabbed to death, an imam murdered outside his mosque, a Palestinian man beaten in Bal, father and son assaulted in NY , and countless others.

So who is really in danger? Who is being murdered? Who are the actual targets of violence and hate? We know the answer to that

I am close with an attorney who works for an Ivy as an investigator where there are student issues escalated to the deans for disciplinary action, and according to them the typical correction would be some kind of rebuke, a potential temp suspension, not expulsion. Another friend is a tenured professor at a different Ivy, and is also a WOC. She’s frustrated by the lack of discussion about how the burdens of mentorship and teaching are distributed to WOC, so that the “rockstars” who trend white and male are unimpeded with their own personal publications and research. There’s nuance in this, not that that could ever matter to the “2 down 1 to go” crowd.

NP. Gay didn’t receive even a mild rebuke over the years and the plagiarism allegations are not new. She was treated entirely differently than students.

No one has Israeli roots. It is a new country settled in 1948 where they instituted a new constitution, imported millions of migrants, and built a national language, which had not been in spoken form for centuries.

If Israel would follow the calls from the UN - which has stood for decades - calling for a removal of settlements, a true 2 state solution (and not the sham "peace deals" that were offered as a ruse), a right to Palestinian resettlement, and payment of restitution maybe we could see peace in our lifetimes. But Israel has refused those basic premises for 75 years and instead opted to systematically kill the population so that they could take the entirety of the land - land which Palestinians have lived on for generations.

Just ask Israel to abide by international law and stop killing those working for peace - including their own leaders.

OMG. Look for the intended message. Yes we know Britain controlled Palestine/Israel before they were established and that many European Jews settled there. Hence the use of the term “old-world” to point to the people now in or with familial connections to people in Israel/Palestine. You clearly just want the hostilities to continue.

I’m not the PP but I saw a terrible video of a Jewish student getting physically surrounded and threatened at Harvard that sure looks like that poor student was getting threatened. You discredit yourself when there is video proof you are wrong. Also I am not Jewish, before you start screaming Zionist or whatever nonsense you’ll spout.

I'm amazed at how many people truly know nothing about the Israeli government or their systematic human rights violations for nearly a century. Do you honestly not know or refuse to educate yourself on it? Have you read any of the UN reports, foundational documents, seen any of the documentaries or eye witness accounts from the ground?

It's crazy to me how many of you guys live with blinders on. Or it's just plain racism. You hate Arabs and Muslims so much that you're able to swallow the propaganda hook, line and sinker.

DP. I’ve read a lot of UN reports about alleged human rights violations by Israel but after watching how the UN reacted to the 10/7 atrocities I no longer trust the UN.

+1000

I have seen several videos; the harassment absolutely is occurring. There is no reasonable doubt about that. I’m also not Jewish; I am just observing documented facts here.

27 Harvard students were dismissed and kicked off campus in disgrace for various “academic improprieties.”

These students are left with nothing, other than a massive black-mark on their transcripts.

Gay, in contrast, gets to keep her salary (reported from $600,000 to $1 million per year), her tenure protections, and even her title of “Dr.,” although it appears she did not honestly earn that title.

This whole episode is an amazing case study in failed DEI principals and policies. Love to see it.
