It was almost impossible to watch that game and not root for Morocco! The goal was amazing. Then, when they made the defensive subs so early, I didn't it would be possible for them to hold on in the face of so much pressure with little possession, but they managed to do so, even playing one man down at the end. Bravo.

And Ronaldo immediately exiting the field was not a good look at all.

And yet it has NOTHING to do with the games. There has been claims of foul play and it just goes in and on. If you want to start a speculation or honor thread, why not start one. Not everyone in the world knows who he is or frankly cares as tragic as it may be.

Same for the discussion of the migrant workers or human rights abuses in Qatar which affected far more people than a death of a journalist.

The title of the thread covers everything about World Cup 2022. If you want to start a thread ONLY about matches, feel free to start one.

This thread is about the 2022 World Cup. Wahl’s death is part of the story of this year’s tournament. It is strange how much that seems to be enraging you, and how desperate you are to control the discussion . If you don’t want to discuss Wahl’s death, ignore the posts and talk about some other aspect of the events.
