What non political controversial position do you hold?

It is why they talk loud and fast to chase us off. Like Andy Kaufman in the show Taxi

Omg you’re joking. Hahahah this opinion cannot be real! I don’t think it can even qualify as controversial because it’s just so absurd.

This is pure blasphemy!!!
In all seriousness, I'm a vegetarian and could never cook meat for $h!t, and I can now do that in the air fryer. For some reason it makes it so much easier.

I don’t think it’s a scam, as in a bad device, but I think most people fail to realize it’s just a new word for convection oven, and many people already have a convection oven making the appliance redundant.

Which is why it’s a scam. A marketing scam.

Care to share your well-thought-out solution? I'm sure you'd be wealthier than Elon if you ever share it with the rest of us mortals.

NP - ending corn subsidies would be a good first step.

And, you know, allowing doctors to tell patients they need to lose weight.

Also - being explicit that while everyone should be comfortable in their skin, bodies are really not intended to carry too much or too little weight. We need to be able to say this very clearly and directly.

who is stopping the doctors or you from speaking your mind?

NP - but anyone who dares say that plus-sized people are unhealthy is cancelled immediately. And that whole movement of people who wanted to be able to hand their doctors a card that said not to ask their weight?

Categorically not true. I've had many conversations with my doctor regarding my weight.

Assholes who make it their business to "preach" to overweight people when it doesn't concern them in the slightest might be canceled through. Why do you care about how much I weigh unless you're my spouse, child or doctor?

The same reason I care about smoking. Because obesity is a public health crisis that will be underwritten eventually by the taxpayer.

The taxpayer pays for your SN child from the getgo. I know someone who gets free babysitting through Medicaid for her two SN children and uses it for Christmas shopping.

They don't. They do, however, get paternity leave.

If dads don't get (and take) paternity leave, women will never achieve equality in the workplace. They'll always be considered less committed to their work than men, and their salaries and opportunities for promotion will reflect that.

I don't like Pho. Though I happily eat almost every other type of Asian food, including Vietnamese.

Parents should take care of their own children until they are old enough to go to full day school, four at the youngest, with half day preschool allowed for three-year-olds.

If you don't want to take care of your own kids during infancy and toddlerhood then you shouldn't have any.

If you absolutely can't take care of your own kids at that age for financial reasons then those kids can go to the high quality daycare that would then be available since all the other kids are home with their parents.

Jobs and careers will still be available during the non child caring years. I'm not asking anyone to sacrifice their career for endless years of child rearing.

All kids would be much better off if they were raised and cared for by people who love them intensely until they start school.

Young people who want kids should take partner-seeking very seriously

Schools aren’t social service providers

Schools should all have nationalized, knowledge-based curricula

Yes my rich SAHM friend has a taxpayer paid babysitter for her SN child every waking minute that he’s not in school. And she had this before he was old enough for school too. She also doesn’t have to buy any of his food or pay any healthy insurance copay’s or deductibles at all.

People should not have kids unless they can afford to pay for their college tuition.
