Nobody is truly as busy they claim; it’s a convenient excuse that has been replaced by “covid.”

There is something creepy/controlling about George Clooney

People like you are strange. Why do you care what other people do?

I don’t eat any meat on the bone, no wings no t-bones.

I love chick fil-a sausage biscuits.

People have used they/them for years. This is not new.

I can of see it! I get similar vibes from Denis on Peloton.

Everyone who gives birth to a baby they intend to parent should at least try to breast feed, if only for a couple of weeks.

How many thousand people have you fed during a disaster?

How much money did he make as a gov contractor off of his "charity"?

I don't care that he made money. No one else had an operation as efficient as his and he should get paid.

... but then it's not humanitarian work, Jose.

of course it is. don't be obtuse.

C'mon, either he's doing it for charity and humanitarian purposes, or for profit. You can't have both.

Do you know his net worth before he went down to Puerto Rico to feed the victims of the hurricane and the furloughed workers in DC?

Dogs do not belong at school pickup. It’s chaotic, there are tons of children being dismissed and you take up way too much space on the sidewalk in front of the school with your dog. Especially true if your dog barks/growls/goes after other dogs or legions of small children stress your dog out making its behavior erratic and scary.

This is pure blasphemy!!!
In all seriousness, I'm a vegetarian and could never cook meat for $h!t, and I can now do that in the air fryer. For some reason it makes it so much easier.

I don’t think it’s a scam, as in a bad device, but I think most people fail to realize it’s just a new word for convection oven, and many people already have a convection oven making the appliance redundant.

I think people in Russia and China pretend to speak a fake language around Americans.

It is why they talk loud and fast to chase us off. Like Andy Kaufman in the show Taxi

I think the US should create a new version of Australia and drop all the weirdos off.

I think they are social constructed. Made up.
I don't think we have tolerance in American society for eccentricities.

As an adult with ADHD I’d argue that society is a construct, and thus all the definitions of what is typical and what isn’t.

The modern, capitalist society that we currently live in that is focused on productivity, efficiency and growth has created environments that affect humans that are more sensitive is some areas differently. To thrive in the way society is constructed, those sensitivities need to be managed otherwise mental health suffers

The reality is true creativity is divergent thinking that can’t really be measured in a consistent way and it’s also inefficient so is often not actually valued or encouraged. Sure, some gets through but they are very much the exception.

I'm the OP of the quoted post, and thank you for this perspective. It was interesting and thoughtful!

I hope this means you are changing your mind and you stop saying ADHD and autism are “made up.”
